[ City Council ] The Hawker Act

BY ORDER OF THE REGALIAN CITY COUNCIL

The City Government is pleased to announce the immediate implementation of Ordinance CR-30610-19, henceforth to be known as the Hawker Act.

The Hawker Act pertains to all merchants, vendors, traders, and other purveyors of goods seeking to operate on a commercial scale within the City of Regalia.

Under the Hawker Act, The aforementioned group is encouraged to sign into mercantile contract with the City of Regalia. This mercantile contract shall obligate the signing business to operate commercially for a continuous one hour once per week on the Emperor's Way, otherwise known as Main Street. Said hour will be documented by government officials. In exchange for this service, the City of Regalia shall provide compensation that sums up to one hundred percent of the business owner's personal monthly property tax. Should the business owner own no personal properties, a maximum sum of [10 IG Regals per Month] shall be afforded to the individual in question.
