It was three weeks spent away from Regalia and all of its chaos, as Cieli had enough of the city. The bruised and battered Est'alorn put a halt on the things requiring her attention, packed her bags, and returned to her homeland of Unta'alsur.
Her first week home was spent recovering. She hardly left her father's apartment that week, spending the first few days resting and healing while her father watched over her. The Altalar was also visited by a stream of close friends during her first week in Unta'alsur. Many of them were people who held a special place in her life, and so she welcomed them while she healed. There was the healer who had watched over her throughout her childhood, a childhood friend she had remained close to, and some others. Most of her time was spent with her father, though, as she relayed to him the stories of her time in Regalia. These stories were a mix of humorous incidents, happy moments, and other, less pleasant incidents involving dragon temples, rifts, and cults. He was rightly concerned about these more negative happenings and even bore witness to some of Cieli's night terrors, but Cieli brushed off his concerns.
The second week opened with Cieli feeling much better but also more than a bit agitated from being confined to her father's apartment. As such, she spent the majority of this week out and about in the rebuilding city of her childhood. She interacted with a steady stream of friends, from those she had worked with to those she had grown up with. The Altalar wandered the city with her fellow Est'alorn, watching as artisans and architects argued over how and what to rebuild, and visiting what business had survived the war.
Her time with her friends was also spent, of course, telling more stories. Cieli told them of battles, incidents, romantic interests, and everyday life in Regalia. In exchange, they told her of how life had been in Unta'alsur during and after the war. There were many stories exchanged throughout this week, some happy and humorous, and others much darker.
Her third and final week home was spent much the same as her second. She was rarely seen in her father's apartment as she continued exploring the new, and hopefully temporary, fixtures of her home city. It was odd to her, being something of a stranger in a land that she had grown up in. So many once-familiar streets were now not, with ruins in the place of many buildings fallen by the Kathars hand.
At the end of the three weeks, Cieli once again bid her friends, family, and homeland farewell. She returned to Regalia a bit less bruised, battered, and considerably refreshed, proving that her break was a much-needed one indeed.
OOC Note: Cieli would be absent from the city for a few weeks while this played out. For Rp's sake, though, it's being time-skipped.
