basically, you write /character in the top of a book, and fill it out with /name <name> and /race <race>.
additional information could then be written in the book, and signed. when holding the signed book you would write /play and you would change to that character ((you would need a manual skin change)). the /name <name> would cause your nick name to change, and the /race <race> would cause your race to change - the additional information would be how the character acts, what they look like, their life story and/or a place to get a suitable skin.
I think this would be a good way to keep track of all your characters if you have multiple ones, and could introduce a new trade.
