A while back @Silent_Ruler created a threat titled Character Recognition because everyone loves a good bit of ego stroking and a shoutout. This time however I'm changing up the rules. Rather than having people respond to the poster above them, this is just a place to get us thinking about other peoples characters and a place to do shoutouts. Everyone loves being recognized. So without further ado, I'm going to ask you to answer these three questions:

1. What character is the most entertaining to be around: These are the characters that just make you laugh, or smile, or otherwise really get into a scene. They may not be the most important, but they always seem to just liven up whatever scene they step into. They're an absolute pleasure to roleplay with and you're always walking away with a grin.

2. What character is the most interesting to you: These are the characters that are filled with hidden depths. They make you curious. How did this character get here? What does this character want? Perhaps the character explores some interesting themes. You are filled with questions just by being around them. They are well written, well played, and full of surprises.

3. What character is the most influential to your characters: This is the character that always seems to drag yours along into crazy RP. Be it some amazing scheme, or just getting you both into trouble. This character drives RP and always seems to want something, or want to give something. You'll never run out of things to do around this character.

Now. My answers:
1. Most Entertaining: @Magivore Wilfre takes the cake for this. His little quirks of madness and Magivore's ability to play him so well makes him by far one of the most entertaining characters I've seen in a while. He doesn't always steal the show, but he just makes everywhere he walks in to a little more quirky.

2. Most interesting: @Annju Basically all of Ann's characters are really well thought out and I'd love to delve in and learn more about them. From the enigmatic Yanar Twins, who are the most heart-wrenching and realistic orphans I've ever seen played out. To Amrynn and her entire messy life. They are always teaming with unanswered questions that I get the feeling Annju knows, but isn't going to share anytime soon.

3. Most Influential: If I'm being honest this is still Nadina, who's Nenyarina Order utterly formed Asterion's arc as a character. However, that was some time ago and more recently I'd like to take this spot to give a shoutout to @Posidem and the entire Ombre family. While not all of their plots are successful (actually they've had an ungodly amount of bad luck) they are one of the few people I constantly see seeking others out and trying to drag their characters into plots and plans. All around, a great driving force. Keep it up and don't let the failures get to you! I hope they get some great accomplishment someday.

I really do like this idea. Suppose I'll give my two cents on whom I look up to as a player in all three categories.

Most Entertaining: Thought long on this, and much like Elder, I too find @Magivore especially entertaining to roleplay with. Of all his characters Wilfre would be the one I enjoy, but that's because he is the only character I remotely roleplayed with (in his early and current forms as the magic-hating french man we know and love). All his characters are genuinely entertaining. With his well-constructed sentences and words that exceed the satisfaction of sweet molasses. Reading his words and how he describes his emotes and environmental emotes is like gazing upon a painting from how detailed they are. Overall, he is very entertaining both IC and OOC. Meanwhile entertaining, I look up to him.

Most Interesting: With so many interesting character concepts, what takes the cake from my platter is @TheLimpet 's own Sselliaz. It's mostly because of how well they can play out an Es-Allar so well, and how they constructed him as a character makes him never boring to learn of. The manner of how they speak is philosophical and intellectual. Slowly learning of their past is great too (I usually don't read character apps since finding things out IC for myself, thus surprising myself both ic and ooc. By far this character gave me the most positive response in learning about their personality etc.), but their personality becomes slowly more apparent, and is interesting in slowly learning of such things. It is also worth noting all of Limpet's characters are overall great concepts. It seems he spawns instantly great character concepts.

Most Influential: This would be @Caelamus due to just how encouraging they are to me. I look up to Caelmus and admire how they act IC and OOC. They are the perfect balance of funny and serious. They are great to banter with, but debates or even learning from him is astounding to me. He has a great capacity to care for newer players and help those who seem to struggle even when they are relatively old in the server. His characters are admirable, and what always gets me are intellectuals. His characters both, Zaan and Rowan are great characters, whenever I listen to them I seem to learn something on an OOC level. Though his character give an oddly serious level of comic relief. Overall, I look up to Caelmus the most.

1. What character is the most entertaining to be around: @Jonificus as Hengest Harhold. Hengest is perhaps the most entertaining character ever to appear on Massivecraft. The weaknesses of the character are clearly played out really well but do not subtract from roleplay. Hengest's "stupidity" is often extremely funny, as well as his agressive outbursts. Shout out to Vivienne Harhold ( @Ryria ) for creating such an interesting relationship dynamic.

2. What character is the most interesting to you: Eric Liolen played by @Ghirko . The character just seems to have so much depth. They constantly have new narratives that they are following and the motives of the character adapt to this. @Ghirko 's roleplay style for Eric is clearly created with the character's backstory and experiences in mind, and the character seems to adapt and evolve throughout time.

3. What character is the most influential to your characters: Juliette Miramonte ( @AtticCat ) because Find Out IC.
