Personality and Abilities
  • First Paragraph: Cesare is a boisterous, loud man who never shies away from either a conversation, or a good time. He's incredibly adept at enjoying himself, and can easily find himself chuffing it up with most individuals, especially those similar to himself. Despite this, he can sometimes be an annoyance of sorts, his loud and jovial nature occasionally just being too much for the average person to deal with. While not exactly described as a calm man, he's equally not an easily angered man, and seems to be in a perpetual state of happiness. This is also to say he struggles to be serious sometimes, or focus on the things that really matter, but this never applies to combat. Fighting someone else is Cesare's "zone", so to speak, and is entirely capable of seriousness when swinging his prized warhammer around.
  • Second Paragraph: Internally, Cesare is wired a bit differently. His good-hearted and boisterous nature is sometimes a front to make up for his self-conceived faults. Due to not taking to his father's attempts to mold him into a banker, Cesare sometimes feels like he's not the man his family needs him to be. He's become quite enamored with the idea of seeing them succeed, in order to calm his own anxieties about his coming up short. However, when it comes to his combat skills, nobody is more confident in themselves than Cesare. Perhaps he's just a little too confident, even.
  • Third Paragraph: Cesare is a big family man. He adores his children, his parents, uncles, nieces, nephews, all of them. He desperately wants to please them and seem like he's earning his keep, and trusts them unequivocally. To his friends, Cesare is a protective and loving bear of a man. He's not opposed to breaching etiquette, often giving strong pats to shoulders and arms, sometimes even downright hugging others. Cesare is as good as a friend can get, but can be a bit oblivious sometimes to their faults or problems, or perhaps can be a little too trusting of them.
  • Fourth Paragraph: All in all, Cesare is a genuinely good person. While not big on the constraints of laws, the del Puente is quite sure of himself in the views of good vs evil. Doing bad things, murdering, stealing, things like this are big "no's" to Cesare, and he actively wants to do his part in upholding the good in the world. However. He's a man who will often opt to "be his own handyman", and get things done himself. He'll put more faith into himself and his friends/family more than he'll put into the city guards. Likewise, while not anarchal, Cesare doesn't entirely care for rules and boundaries.
  • Fifth Paragraph (OPTIONAL): Cesare is fiercely Unionist, and loves his religion and his fellow Ailor. That being said, as can be seen by his participation in the Aspect of Divinity, Cesare does not look fondly upon other religions, races, and magic. Having joined up in the Order of Fervent due to this, the del Puente truly believes the Unionist faith and Ailor people need to shield themselves from the vile heresies of magic and organizations like the Dread Empire.
Personality and Abilities (Expansion)
  • Describe any number of Character Quirks your character has, strange behavior that they exhibit in certain situations. For example, a character rubbing a beard when nervous is a quirk, or a character biting their lips when doing math is a quirk, or a character shuffling their feet when talking to someone is a quirk. Quirks are not mandatory and may be left out if the writer doesn't want to include them or can't think of any.
  • Describe your character's skills; abilities they've developed, but not necessarily put at the forefront of their lives. For example, if your character is a good cook, but not a chef, or if they are a good horse rider but not necessarily a competition racer, you would mention them here. Feel free to mention multiple skills but try to keep your character from becoming over skilled.

Go into detail why they love these things and then also explain how it makes them feel.
Dislikes
  • Describe three different activities, things or items that your character hates to see, do, taste or smell. Generally speaking these are things that make your character annoyed or angry and in a general bad mood when they are near them/doing them. Go into detail why they hate these things and explain also how it makes them feel.

Life Story (Required)
Cesare was born to his parents Ferdinand del Puente and Lorena del Puente, in the province of Castro Carcel in Girobalda on November 27th, 262 AC. From infancy to early childhood, Cesare was quite a "big kid", and often a handful of boisterous trouble for his tutors, nannies, and servants who oversaw his upbringing. Due to his close age to his younger brother, Juan Carlos, Cesare got on quite well with him, often playing games together or causing trouble around the family home. When it came time for his education, Cesare didn't entirely take to it, often begrudgingly learning what he was told to, and performing rather mediocrely. Funnily enough, his tutors actually found a smart way to get him to sit down and learn, was to offer prizes or rewards for good performance, or create competition with his younger brother, which Cesare took more enthusiastically too. His father attempted to press the education of a banker onto the young Cesare, which did not go over so well. Instead, the del Puente heir found his fun and calling in swinging swords and axes and hammers around with the family Master-at-Arms and his brothers and cousins.

Cesare quickly found himself enabled to "attend" the School of Beorl. Easily enough, since the school has no location, his father, Ferdinand, simply found a suitable tutor for the young fighter to come to them in Castro Carcel. A Ceardian happened to be the answer to the question, and the man taught the del Puente heir everything he needed to know. Cesare specifically took to the warhammer of all things, finding art in the brutalness of it all, and was exceedingly successful with it. After completing this training, Cesare pushed himself into the ranks of the Regalian Military as a Shock Troop, serving for quite a time over the course of multiple wars, battles, and skirmishes, perfectly content on the front line with his life in danger. His father, by that point, did not attempt to change the ways of his belligerent first son, and simply invested his knowledge of banking and such into other individuals of the family, so they could come to advise Cesare in the future instead. Meanwhile, Cesare continued his service in the military, swapping between home and battlefield often enough to stay in his kids' lives following his marriage to Adriana del Puente.

Cesare took to various hobbies as well during this time, learning the trade of smithing in the military, as well as dabbling in singing and poetry in his free time. At the age of 35, Ferdinand abdicated in favour of his son. Cesare continued on until the Anahera Occupation. The family cut ties, not wishing to be dragged down Andrieu with the other Daen houses, such as Casa Amaya. After Andrieu died, and the occupation ended, Cesare moved the family to Basta, resulting in the dissolution of his titles with the Emperor's New Model Nobility. Cesare and his family took up residence in the Ile-de-Concois province off the Basta coast. Establishing new banks, markets, and footholds, the del Puente name became more prominent in the area, and sensing the need for further expansion, Cesare moved a large portion of his family to Regalia proper, looking to the future.
