Note: This is a decade-old character I have revised for participation in the Cold Rebellion Pre-Tale. I don't have plans to actively play them and they may be requested for information regarding the Anahera Dictatorship or Girobaldan Politics.

If your character would like to get behind supporting Cesare's Cause as an option in the Pre-Tale storyline, please DM on Discord.

    • Born 289. AC, Cesare is the son of prominent aristocracy in the early reign of Alexander I; Atilio Amaya, known as the Poppyslayer and Duke of Natal, and Apollonia Tzavaras, an Aetosian Countess. His younger years were bright, and he was rightly educated.

    • In 303. AC, his father radicalized Cesare by being a main participant in the Anahera Dictatorship. Following the Dictatorship, the popularity of House Amaya withered as they became labeled as traitors, with Atilio becoming subjected to Imperial re-education and eventual execution at the hands of the Deathling Queen Freya Lo. Cesare's goal became the liberation of Daen and Girobalda from Imperial grip.

    • After the collapse of his family's power Cesare was forced into more underhanded tactics, trying to smooth over political connections with House Anahera and surrounding Tierraveran lords. This resulted in a lot of underbelly contracts and scheming in order to leverage funds to continue fighting for Daen. When the ex-Anahera Cortes was declared, House Amaya was one of the leading members.

    • Cesare has a brother, an Arkenborn birthed from Apollonia Tzavaras and legitimized by his father named Florence. Florence is heavily involved in underground Girobaldan politics and has caused political stirs in Regalia previously, distancing himself from House Amaya. He now goes by the surname de Furzainter as he established his own rebellious front against the bordering Iron Duke.

    Mechanics Information
    • Mechanics:
      • Ailor are masters of languages, which is expected given their habit to culturally divide. Because so many of their languages are inter-connected, various words become more obviously related, and they also take more effort to learn other languages. If someone insults an Ailor, even in a language they do not speak, the Ailor would know, as they know most curse words or words by which to speak ill of others in all languages.
      • Ailor are the masters of the Regalian Empire, and while it has equality between all peoples and heritages, Ailor are just by virtue of being Ailor considered preferential for most government positions and judicial situations. Where possible to do with the Nobility, with Government, or with Palace decisions, Ailor will be treated preferentially over other peoples, even if their qualifications might be lesser than the other options.
      • Ailor when using Syncretism, can worship up to 3 Gods of their sub-dominant Religion, instead of just 1 or 2. Additionally, when Syncretizing, they gain the Mechanic of the sub-dominant Religion (except for Evolism, where only one of the Mechanics can be chosen). If your Character does not Syncretize, they gain +1 Attack Stat (Breaking Cap up to 11) against Characters that have Syncretized their mono-faith.
  • This slide will provide a brief history of House Amaya & Cesare's father Atilio Amaya; an important figure throughout the Anahera Dictatorship.

    The Anahera Dictatorship
    • The Anahera Dictatorship was a political coup led by self styled Lord-Protector Andrieu Anahera. Previously the Arch-Chancellor, Andrieu charged himself with ruling the Empire after Emperor Alexander I became comatose. Andrieu ordered the imprisonment of his family and execution of his brother the Viceroy of Daenshore, Alejandro Anahera which was carried out by Atilio Amaya in the Sack of Daenshore. Andrieu then apprehended the Imperial Family, penalizing them for the Kade Settlement Act and executing high ranking members, and ordered the deaths of many high ranking government officials which were carried out by Atilio. Andrieu damaged the religious establishment by appointing his own members to the College of Priests, and committed many cruelties in the name of liberty. After acting as his right hand man the entire way, Atilio in the final act of the Dictatorship cut down Andrieu as he was pushed to his death into a fire.
    House Amaya
    • House Amaya is a noble house respected in rebellious Tierraveran circles. Their economic success came from forestry projects within the southern archipelago and eventually became close allies to House Anahera, trading their lumber for use in Anahera shipyards while receiving shares in their Opium monopoly. The family became heavily intertwined in the Anahera Dictatorship because of these ties and were responsible for many atrocities committed on Andrieu's behalf. House Amaya's legacy would later revolve around Atilio's sons campaigning for claims on his Ducal title of Natal (which would be occupied by the Herebrand Order for years), spearheading the ex-Anahera Cortes in resistance to de Azcoissia governance and the encroaching Iron Duke's Romera Pacification.
    Atilio Amaya
    • Atilio Alexandros Amaya was a Tierravera born in 259. AC in Libertade, San Girobalda to Moeysei and Eirene Amaya. He was a triplet with sister Ezmeralda and brother Adrianos. The family grew up wealthy, owning shares in the Anahera opium monopoly and having warm ties with the Great House. He studied at the Regalian Marshalry and became a Lieutenant-General by the time of his participation in the famous Battle of the Curag Fields as one of the command tacticians and First Masand War as a figure in the Crownguard Rebellion. Atilio played a crucial role in the Anahera Dictatorship, including orchestrating the Sack of Daenshore and assassination of Alejandro Anahera for inciting rebellions against the Empire. For his actions, he was ennobled as the Duke of Natal by Lord-Protector Andrieu Anahera and made Grand Imperial Marshal. Atilio also ended the Dictatorship by betraying and killing Andrieu, which allowed him to retain the smaller barony of Forreista Natal. He was also heavily re-educated by the Imperial Family, regarded as one of the first people to 'Regalize' (though many assume he infact kept his oaths to Andrieu despite his betrayal). He was killed in 304. AC during the Lo Occupation by Deathlings led by Freya Lo, burned at the stake for supposed 'heresy'.
