The very same that she died in. Her sweater has been clearly repaired poorly, multiple times. The sweater is stained with blood. Her boots are heavy, and one has a holster for her dagger. She also typically wears a backpack. Facial Details: Her skin is smooth, but lacks a significant amount of pigment. One of her eyes appears to be coated in some fluid and doesn't function well, while the other one appears almost pristine. Out of her neck, where her spine meets her head, blossoming vines have begun to grow out, wrapping around her forehead and down her right arm. The blossoms are pink, and smell sweetly, which make her rotting scent a lot more bearable. Body Details: Belly has a large series of stitches along it that occasionally leaks blood, and if she moves to much the stitches do rip open. She has lost her right arm, and has gotten it replaced with clockwork biotech. Her hands are permanently stained with blood from her attempting to mend herself. Vocal Details: Her voice could be described as smooth and silky, comforting and soft, when she is in a calm mood. If her mood gets taken up, she is usually a bit more annoying as the pitch raises. Her mood goes down, and the pitch will deepen, which could easily bring her to be taken as a man if not seen from the front. Someone with prior knowledge could note that it is written in Celeste's own blood. Backstory: Celeste managed to wake up from her death in the darkness of the sewers. She had been beaten and attacked long ago, cut open and left to die. Something however, had other plans for her. She awoke, her body being used as a flower pot and breeding ground for plants, fungi, and flowers aplenty. She doesn't know what brought her back, divine intervention? magic? A fungus spoke to her mind, telling her to search for the sun. This was the savior from the pain of death, and she wouldn't let it down. She follows its orders to this day, keeping both of them alive. Nobody knows what happened to her that caused her to meet her end, nor entirely how long she has been dead, but it didn't matter. Upon reaching the surface, she made a promise to herself, that she would not squander her second chance. Nowadays she wanders the streets rather aimlessly, searching for friends and people to help, using her knowledge to help anyone as best she can. She hopes one day, using the knowledge she has and comes to accumulate, that she will eventually find a cure for death itself, so nobody will ever have to go through the pain she did. Personality Details: Quirks: Panics at the sight of fresh blood When feeling on edge, will scratch her ankle to inconspicuously make reaching for her dagger easier When in a good mood, has trouble sitting still. The branches will also rapidly blossom while she is happy. Will shake anxiously when wielding anything but her scalpels if in a threatening situation. Sings/Hums to keep herself from spacing out Her humming and singing is known to be deceptively calming. Some of the songs she will hum: She will hum this idly most of the time. Hums and will even sing (chorally) parts of this when she or someone around her is highly stressed When angered, the branches on her head will begin to grow outward, like antlers. It's unknown why they do this, as they are still weak and serve no function. Lesser Skills: Attempts to dance in some of her free time. A lot of emphasis on 'attempt' Tends to make spend time trying to make her own little songs, maybe one day she'll actually be good at it! Despite being forgetful, she's really good with words and expressing herself with them. Likes: Her favorite thing to do is exercise her medical prowess. Helping and healing others provides a joy in knowing she's getting closer to finding out the cure to death, even in the tiniest steps. It also gives her a sense of purpose, which little does since she is rather forgettable to those who aren't around her much. One of her favorite objects is her set of lucky scalpels. Despite being old and rusty, she still will sometimes use them when performing surgeries! Primarily on herself, though, as they are the very same scalpels she used to fix up her torso after awakening in the sewer. She also has a fondness for caring for the flowers that grow on her, as they help her remember that she isn't just some corpse, that she is alive, despite what her body has become. She has a goal that one day, she'll acquire a certain flower important to her race, that is known for being extremely rare, to place within her right eye. Dislikes: One of the thing she hates the most is violent people. Violence get's people killed, and goes against everything she stands for. If she sees violence, she will usually do anything she can to stop it before someone get's hurt or worse, typically to a psychotic degree. She holds Sanguine's in rather high contempt, as they will so often injure others recklessly, just to get some blood. All without considering the consequences of what might happen to the individual However, in an effort to better herself, and increase the quality of life around her, she has actually started a bit of an experimental side business, distributing excess blood from her medical practices to Sanguines that need it. Magic. She absolutely DESPISES magic with a passion. She believes magic's sole purpose in it's creation was to kill our fellow man, as so many spells focus on injuring others. Healing magic is mostly while doing the opposite of what she hates most other magic for doing, believes it to be an 'easy way out,' especially since she has such medical skill that she rarely gets to use because of the magic that surrounds her everyday life. She shows happiness through two ways, the blossoms growing out of her which will fade a deeper shade of hot pink. The other way being her tone of voice, which goes an octave above her usual standard tone. How would your character respond to experiencing Fear? Under most circumstances, she will attempt to flee or hide. If she cannot, she will do everything possible to avoid conflict, be it diplomacy or bargaining. How would your character respond to experiencing Stress? She usually will attempt to get wasted off of the closest alcohol she can get her hands on. Alcohol numbs her senses beyond how it would to a living person, as her senses are already fairly low as is. How does your character view Law and Authorities? She sees them as a threat to her life, as she has come into several close calls before involving the authorities. Only narrowly getting out with her second life. How does your character feel about Races other than their own? She only has anger against sanguine, as most of the ones she's met have treated her poorly. Rarely does she willingly meet sanguines, and typically they don't want to meet her because of her blood. How does your character feel about Religion for themselves, and other faiths? She views religion rather poorly. Having seen and felt what the afterlife is like, she doesn't believe any of it, but because of its integration in society she just rolls with what they say, when she can remember at least. How does your character feel about the Arcane and Magical in the world? She views it as a blessing but also despises it with every fiber of her being. She is thankful to it, as it is what saved her from the agony of death, but also hates how it trivializes her prowess in medical science. How does your character feel towards their family? She doesn't remember anyone in her family, and she believes they don't remember her given how she woke up alone, untouched from anything but for the hole in her belly and the missing arm. What is your character the most proud of about themselves? Nothing, as she doesn't have most, if any, of her memories from when she was alive. What motivates your character to move forward and better their life? The pain of being dead again is extremely frightening to her, as it's one of the only things she can never forget. What is your character's biggest insecurity? Her missing body part, and the holes in her back and belly. These are frowned upon by those of her own race, and the ideals were imprinted deeply onto her mind, to the point they carried over. She is ashamed of herself having such disgusting blemishes, but cannot do much about it due to the nature of the growths on her body. What is your character's biggest fear? Death. She has made a promise to herself she would do everything within her power to avoid taking risks, or entering any situation in which her life would be in danger again.
Hello! Wanted to give some points on this app! Not an official review, mind you. You'd have to be officially approved for an Undead special permission if you want to play an Undead character. Something like this would usually be reserved for Artifacts, which have to be obtained in roleplay. This isn't usually something that's possible unless you'd want to play a character inflicted with the Northern Taint. You could also try playing a Haat-Maraya, which has some arachnid aesthetics. I would expand heavily on each entry in this section. Typically two to three full sentences would suffice here. Finally, you'd have to write up a backstory for the character.
