So...yeah, I got bored one day and said "Hey, I need a new computer background image!"...that's basically where this whole thing sprouted out of; I don't have a good title for the build 'cause it was just something I made without a clue to what I was going to make it into.

Next to the left side of the wall, which is to the left of the building in the above picture, is one of my redstone launchers I was testing (just saying that it's not part of the Cathedral Thingy).

Just the outside wall(above).

The top...the bell is rather...I don't know, Unnecessary?

Now to go down the hall to one of the side rooms...

And probably the oddest part to start this build from...
BuildExample.png
Located in all four of the side rooms, and still my computer's background... Everything that's visible in it, was the only part built at the start. Basically a semicircle wall, without a roof, and half a floor.

And that's basically the whole build...all symmetrical and stuffs... Now that I look back at it all, I should have been using world edit or at least the '/clone' command to speed up the building... Anyways, I'd love some feedback on it.

Well, I think it Loos awesome, especcially the interior, but you could've added some more details and new blocks to the exterior!

Could use a lot less quartz. Maybe put some stoney materials in?

Could have, but I wasn't really finding a design that fit my specs that could fit in a "Stoney Material" that went along with the quartz patterns. As for all the quartz...thought it was fine since I ended up using all the different types spread throughout the build(I didn't just use the base quartz block) and I ended up including Lapis, Gold, and Polished Andesite as "Gem Blocks".

now... put it in massive

Wow... really really awesome. I don't quite know where to look when I'm inside though. I understand what you were experimenting with (using a lot of detail inside) but I suspect someone who is prone to epilepsy might have a seizure if they were to walk inside one of the internals. I'd suggest use the same principles... but... you need large areas that are plain/flat... otherwise the 'accents' don't make sense... otherwise it's just a cacophony of noise. Chandelier is the most awesome I've seen in a while - gonna copy this one for sure.

Thanks for the Tip, I'll take it into account with the other builds I'm working on currently and will be working on in the future.

I would...but I'm not sure if Massive contains that much quartz currently and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to obtain the massive amount of it even if Massive does contain that much quartz currently.

[Coughs] ahemmMassiveRestore ahrmRift

There's plenty of Quartz in The Rift (use the portal near New Ceardia spawn) ...but we're all hoping the Worlds Team will eventually enable MassiveRestore in the rift (when they get a chance). That will make it easier to find spots that haven't been mined to death without having to walk forever.
