Archived Can Someone Place A Roof At Spawn?

Wel, this is why I think there should be a roof at spawn:
I'm an Agni and I was mining. Then I found a zombie spawner and 2 zombies spawned right in front of me. They started to attack me and I fought back, but I was helpless. Pushed in a corner, I died. Of course it was raining at spawn and there was no roof! I died like 15 times after I got killed by the zombies. I even didn't have the chance to do /f home!!! So please, I ask you, for the live of all Agni's, place a roof at spawn...

Tough luck. Silveredge is a human city, why should they accommodate for a different race? Does that mean spawn should also have a non-transparent roof for the vampires? And fill it up with water for the maiar? Or maybe you can just get over yourself, and wait for it to stop raining. Races have cons for a reason.

I don't think he means put a roof over the entire city, just over the spawn-block in whichever world that doesn't have it, which isn't such a silly request. Kinda bad to be stuck in an infinite death-loop without possibility to get out.

At least you should explain the issue more clearly. I also see your suggestion is a bit problematic, most traveling to other spawns goes through boats and placing a roof at a harbor would look silly.

For instance, you got Ellador's spawn ( Minecraft Dynamic Map )
Think a roof or a large dome would look good there?

Sorry that I didn't explain it so clearly, but you've got to understand that not everyone grew up with English as his/her mother language...

Maybe whatever world they were in, the spawn could be placed a block under the mast of the ship. Assuming the problem is they spawned on top of the ship.
