Prologue;

Imagine Lord Of The Rings in Minecraft, but my friend doesn't know it's being acted. But there is still that element of realism because the enemies/actors are legitimately trying to kill each-other.

Hello! I got back into the server for a month or so now, and I tricked a friend into coming on telling him about all the new stuff, like horses, role-play names, for example. He usually get's pretty bored of things quickly but I managed to keep him sticking to it. I wanted to arrange a surprise for him, not because I want him to play with me, just because I like doing that kind of thing.

I told him about a made-up faction that has race division within itself, wars within itself, etc. That there is quests they make you do against other races within that faction on a Lord Of The Rings type scale. For example, I told him you're put into a group of people, that you from now on do these massive scale quests with. People you build bonds with, and when someone dies they cannot return to that group and do the quests with them anymore, to add to that realism that if someone dies you've lost a friend and you can't play with him anymore.

We're both Elves, and I told him that the main wars within the faction are Elves versus Orcs, with occasional help from Dwarves and Humans, etc. And I made up that Orcs will launch random attacks on these Elvish settlements and Elves would do the same, and that Orcs have many but poor equipment but Elves have few but are well equipped. To give it that Lord Of The Rings, nine versus twenty feel of kicking Orcish arse.

I need to first make this faction, which I will be doing tomorrow, and then build the Elven city of Alberich. Which will be done in Ellador. All of which I can do by myself.

I told him we should travel to Alberich on the weekend to stay there while I get accepted to do quests for this faction which I am pretending I am joining when it's really mine. So at first I only need a few actors, to play Elves living at Alberich, perhaps the leader of Alberich, and also I need Orcs to launch a small attack on a camp me and my friend will set up while on our way there.

We'll work out the details later. But when it comes to the actual quest we're given, I'll need tens of Orcish actors to play the enemy that are hunting us down for whatever we're carrying, and the groups we're put in are pretty diverse, so it won't just be a group of Elves carrying this important item, there will be a couple Humans, a Dwarf, another Elf. Just to add to that Lord Of The Rings feel...again...

I know some of you will be thinking; "What's the point in playing those Orc actors, they're pretty much there just to get killed." No, they're not. They're just given, say, iron armor with an iron axe to attack with, you will still be trying to kill us, but in an organised at certain points kind of way. You most probably won't win but there will be more of you than us.

IF YOU'RE INTERESTED, TELL ME BELOW, IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, ASK!

This sounds amazing. I could be an Orc lieutenant to help out with it. Btw, how will we attack you? Will us Orc actors be in your faction, or do we stay in our own?

Im Elf, it surely sounds interesting. :) I find it interesting so i wouldnt mind doing it.

I told him that for the sports-man-ship of the quests, you have to stay on dynmap, so you will be able to find us like that. And I'll get him to panic because (four) odd Orcs are heading our way. We'll probably set up camp two times, the second time you can attack us. You don't have to be in the faction, I'll just say you're. You also don't have to be an Orc, just have the skin of an Orc while you're acting, he won't know the difference.

Obviously you won't all just be given Iron stuff, so if you're an Orc lieutenant then you can probably have a diamond enchanted axe and a diamond chest-plate or something.

Do you want a part you can play again, when we're doing the big quests. (Obviously, for now I just have to build the small city.) and I can spend a week organizing cool places like the equivalent of the Mines Of Moria, for example.

So you can either be just another Elf living at Alberich, the leader of it, or the Elf that comes with our party. Your choice! First come first serve!

You need an Orc, huh? Well I'm a professional Orc and would like to participate, but I need information like time of events and stuff.

Hm, What all is open? It would be sweet to be the Leader.. :D

I'll give more details somewhere around Wednesday. And yes, we need lots of Orcs! We're aren't doing the big quest yet, he's really excited that we're going to travel to Alberich, an Orc attack on our camp along the way would get him excited for the BIG quest later on!

So as leader you would just need to get to Alberich and be there to greet us when we arrive. I'll tell you a few key lines to say throughout the convosation, but that will mainly be for when we get told what our group needs to do!

I'll private message all participants sometime throughout the week! Thank you!

Actually, can I be a fellow Elven archer? I like to be the party's guide. :D You know, someone who knows the land.

Sure! I'll give you all skins to use, so you might want to save your other ones. I think we'll have meeting in Alberich about a week after we arrive, held by Lenka, and the group that I will pick will be there, and a couple of random elves to add to the scene. Much like the one where they're deciding who would take the ring but a little less hostile.

BTW, im going to need a Skin, i used to have a very nice skin, but got rid of it >.< so im going to need a Midevil Elven Leader (Queen whatever you call it.) 'Cause my current one wouldnt be too much help to us.

Alright, I'll be one of the orcs (preferably the leader). Is there anything specific you need me to do?

Honestly, there should be more of these RP type of battles. Regular wars are just so boring. Running into shelter the second you see an attacker...

You can play both the leader and just a regular Orc. When it get's to the big quest I can make you out to be this horrible Orc leader who wants to rip our heads off. Make him worried about approaching your city type thing. (Orcs will have something like that too.)

But for the attack on our camp on the way there, we just need a few regular Orcs. Not much.

It's gonna be a really really really big show....

Would you like to apart of said show!?

Don't have to join the faction, don't have to change race, just have to have a skin and say what you're what you're acting.

Still quite a few spots open so you could join either the Orcs attack party, (and be apart of the bigger fighting and stuff, later.)

I will now be paying a small sum of 9 silver to all that are going to be helping, too!

I agree! You can happily join if you would like! You can play multiple places, finish off the Orcs attack party on our camp members (and you'll join in the bigger quest we will be doing later, obviously. Because we need lots of Orcs then.)

You can be an Elf living at Alberich, or you can be a Human or Dwarf apart of our group that will be doing the bigger quest and who also live at Alberich! Up to you!

Don't scold me plz but I suggest some body or a Mod to record the Fight cus it would be Epic!

I would possibly be interested if I'm available. When is this battle taking place?

I would love to be a elf :D I am a great trapper.

You would have to be one of the elves living in Alberich. But if we arrange for me and my friend to get captured by a group of Orcs, perhaps you can be apart of a small Elven cavalry assault that rescues us, so you have something interesting to do!

It's not just a battle, I told my friend this was a faction that arranged quests for people who are apart of it. And quests on a big scale, Lord Of The Rings style. But it wouldn't really work unless it was acted. So everyone will be in on what is happening, apart from my friend. So we need roughly ten Orcs, (we won't use them all at once,) and about 6 elves, including the leader and the one in the group. A Dwarf, and a couple of Humans. It's a lot to explain.

But you will get what I mean once you get into it...

I would really be interested in being the Dwarf,This idea sounds really good and deserves a lot of people joining in on it!

In about a month I'll have an Elven Town up in Northern Daendroc, if you want to have quests there please just tell me! :)

The carnival near Osai is very RP friendly and we would love to have anyone interested in roleplaying visit us. I do believe I have a pile of magical rings around here somewhere..
