    • Religion:
      • Shambala (4/10); He struggles with his faith, as he struggles with his nationalism. He was abandoned by his country, and became something that his faith would burn their dead over. He was bitter, in the beginning, waking up an archblood, but, while still bitter now, he has mellowed out somewhat due to his time away.

    Life Story
    Childhood:
Born in the Regalian Archipelago as a recognized aristocrat, Cagan was the second child of Amadou and Kadiatou of House Fa’Salor, in the year 274 AC. Cagan always felt he was designated to be second best to his brother. He held no ill-will to him for it, contrary, they were actually quite close, but he always felt there was nothing to be expected of him, where Traore was expected to be great.

He excelled in training alongside his brother, but his heart was never fully in it. Tragedy struck when his father, Amadou, fell ill. Not a few weeks later, he had to watch his brother take up the mantle of patriarch of the family, with his mother securing their place in nobility. Cagan vowed, then and there, that he would do whatever he could to ensure that Traore never had to experience hardship at his hand, an unfortunately naive bit of foreshadowing for the 11 year old to swear.

    Adolescence:
A year later, Traore went off to military school, at Oussafalin Academy Songay. Cagan, left to his own devices, requested to go to the Regalian Informational Academy. 4 years later, he was enrolled, and excelled in his classes. Graduating at 18, he would finally follow his brother to the Masaya, to the Oussafalin Academy Songay. He’d follow his brother in his courses to become a Frontline General, being accepted on both his father and his brother’s reputation. 3 years later, after graduation, at the age of 21, he would join his brother in joining the Songaskian Military.

    Young Adulthood:
Due to his education in the Regalian Informational Academy, Cagan took on the role of socialite, outside of his work in the military, gathering information independently for various politicians across the Masaya. Where his brother wanted to rise in the ranks and succeed, Cagan wanted success on his own terms, becoming rather renowned as a socialite in polite society, and as a competent and skilled informant within the right circles. He and his brother remain close, however, despite their separate goals, with Cagan having grown out of feeling in his brother’s shadow.

All good things must come to an end, however, and after years of political turmoil and unofficial conflict, Cagan and Traore were called to war, to fight against the Regalian Empire in the First Songaskian War. Traore was a much higher ranking general, so, while sometimes they would fight alongside each other, more often than not Cagan was called away to a different battlefield. They fought on different fronts throughout the two years of war, when, in a tragic conclusion, Cagan was killed in the final Hadravian Battle, at the age of 29.

    Adulthood:
And then he lived. Awoken, coughing and wheezing as he sits up, wounds healing and alone on an empty battlefield, his eyes a blazing purple. He’d stumble through the desert for a day before finding his way back to a town, having discarded any part of his uniform that would give away his identity as an officer. He learned the Regalian Empire had pulled out of the lands, it was over… Cagan didn’t know what to do with himself.

Seeing his eyes, he knew what he was. He knew he was presumed dead. And he refused to go back, to be another cog in the machine of war. For two years, he would reside in Hadravia, peacefully with the locals, working at taverns and doing odd jobs, under the name of Felokwakhe, or Felok. He’d then board a ship for Mooriye, the capital of the Qadir lands.

Because of his two years in Hadravia, his prejudice against Qadir had significantly lessened in comparison to his brethren. He took to learning the local language, and took on an apprenticeship in a popular clothing shop in the capital. There, he’d prove to have an eye for design and embroidery, and would take up the craft wholeheartedly, glad to have a passion once more after his years away from war. He was allowed to heal. From his death, from all the fighting. He wasn’t ‘cured,’ there wasn’ a cure for what war did, but he was given time to grow and improve, and that was enough for him.

By the time he had caught word that his brother was in Regalia, he almost disregarded the information. He had been living quietly and happily for 4 years, content in Mooriye. But there was… the inescapable guilt of having left his family behind, his brother, his friends, his cousins. They thought him dead. So he took up sail once more, bidding that he’d return soon enough to Mooriye, and headed to the Crown Isle.

    Present Day:
Felok has landed in Regalia with the certainty that he will experience whatever the city has in store for him with the resilience that allowed him to grow from the war, from his death. He’ll establish roots as a designer in the city, he’ll find his brother, and then, after a few months of fun, he’ll be back in Mooriye.

From my calculations you should have about 5 extra points to spend. You don't have to use them here, and can save them for later learning ICly. I just wanted to make u aware.

Life story's good! Just remember for noble stuff to use the Kassambara family name if you'd like to be formally recognized. Beyond that though, things seem to check out here.
    Approved!
