The somewhat difficult brewing process rewards you with a diversity of Potions, which, through their effects, create a drunkeness that has never existed in Minecraft before.

Learn the art of brewing through fermenting, distilling and barrel aging on your Minecraft server. Experience how, from spring water and wheat, through hard work, a cool beer is created. Distill high-proof liquor, which gets that unique taste after some aging in oak barrels. Celebrate the biggest feasts you can imagine and always keep the cheerful athmosphere. Fill the taverns with laughter and loud music, while the drunkards scuffle on the streets.

I played on a server that was all pirate themed, with grog and everything! one thing that made it feel very immersive was their use of the plugin named brewery

For those unaware what brewery is or what it does, You can create small or large barrels as real sized objects in game, and those are used to age brewed alcohol or remedies, depending on how the coders change the defaults around, which leads to me to my next point...

If you have an idea, suggest a recipe to be added and it can actually be! complete with effects such as regeneration instant health and whatever else is needed, you can edit every single recipe to your liking and if there is something like...coffee that you want a special recipe to be, and say a special book has the recipe written down and only 1 person has it, and can choose to share it and sell the recipe or keep it to him/herself and sell the products, its all about experimentation with brewery.

The plugin uses almost no resources as its just a timer and keeping track of ID's and requires no special blocks or non easily aquired items which means everyone could brew, and to keep things interesting and very RP oriented you could continue adding recipes and even add an entire (possible hyperbole) forum subtopic just for suggestions!

I sincerely ask that for the sake of immersion and a little bit more flair, this be added ASAP and im sure everyone will love it, and its completely customizable, so if you feel something is Overpowered and being abused, just nerf it and its done

I love this... If this is added like half of regalia will be drunk

I seriously love this. This is a plugin that could go both ways, great for roleplay, and great for comedy as you watch drunk PVPers.
The only (two) thing(s) I have to say now, +100 support, and please add drinks for each race.

I lied before. This is a third thing. This would be AMAZING for the tavern.

Shaolin will need a brewery if this is ever added. Would be a brilliant addition to the server for fun Roleplay.

-Envisions Shaolin Sake being drunk in the Bitter Gardener Tavern-

Just give us the bloody alcohol already...

Just going to point out that even though this is a bukkit plugin does not nessesarily make it compatible with all the Massive made plugins.
Often with plugin suggestions there arises a problem with compatibility.

I'm not an expert on compatibility shtuff so might want to ask @Madus

I played on an Rp server that had this, the system is somewhat complex, it required us to find out the recipes to each and every drink that the plugin had. This in turn led to people selling recipes for large prices and so on. However after playing around with the options available for the plugin I found that it is a very flexible mod. This would indeed go well with massive and I really hope that others agree with me.

In theory all properly made Bukkit plugins are compatible with each other. In theory.
In reality that is not the case.
I personally have no prior knowledge of this plugin. At first glance it doesn't look like it should cause any compatibility issues. I am however not sure and to find out I would have to investigate this plugin further (which I won't do for now).

Not sure how to feel about it, the latest build failed on the project. Do we have anything to suggest that the plugin is more reliable than the failed build indicates?
