(The death of the father of Fathiyaa's children,
She is living in the Songaski village where she had her kids during an attack)
Tunes
Fathiyaa barely caught sight of the bolt before she felt the pressure. The blood quickly soaking through her undershirt, turning the soft pink color a dark dirty red. The Songaskian shrieked, she could do little else as the pain sank into her.
Gasping as the pain fanned out, creeping down toward her hip and up through her shoulder. The bolt had met its mark, lodging itself nearly in her ribcage. A skilled archer fired a crossbow bolt straight into a weak point in her armor.
The Songaski fell to her knees while trying to calm herself, the pure shock of being shot almost made her faint. She'd dropped her blade to the ground when the bolt hit her. Taking only shallow breaths, trying to keep her thoughts while she crumbled over in a mound against the ground. Not daring to fall further fearing breaking the shaft, she took another shallow breath before turning toward the village walls. Away from the Qadir that had laid siege to her home. The walls that separated the world she'd been protecting, her family.

"One."
"Two.."
A memory of a white haired Songaski man speaking to her in Sofaal, "I would cut the moon from the sky if you wished it."
Her stomach curdled as an image of that same man, the father of her children, the man..she'd hoped to spend the rest of her life with..dying.
"Three..."
Snapping her eyes open, Fathiyaa flung her head over to the left, eyes falling on what she'd feared, praying she'd not truly seen a moment ago. The man she'd loved, more than life itself, the man that had given her children to her, that had given her peace lay only a few yards away..His horns were visible..he was laying on his side facing away from her but through his white hair..between his horns was the end of a bolt barely visible through the mass of bloodied hair..a sister to the one imbedded in her. Blood pooling under his head, mixing with the white hair and sand, his body was motionless in the haze of the chaos around them.
Screaming as soon as the sight registered in her, rolling over onto the bolt breaking it off just outside of the armor, the jagged metal end between her skin and leather. The pain added to the woman's shrieking, pushing herself up to her knees she ripped the connectors that held her chest armor against her. The bloody chunk of leather falling to the ground in two masses, one in front and one behind her.

"Four...."
As she rose to her knees, her sounds of anguish echoing through the shouting and battle raging around her. Remnant of a creature that had lost her mate she'd searched for decades for, spent years building a life with only to be snatched away from them.
Now having her torsu free from the leather armor, the jagged end of the bolt stuck out of her a few inches, the woman throwing her horned head backward up toward the smoky sky. Tears pouring down her dirty face, leaving smeared clean streaks down her face, the woman gritted her teeth with her left hand around the broken end of the bolt and with a few mutters she yanked. She shuttered, her stomach wretched as the pain from her flesh releasing the bolt nearly made Fathiyaa faint.

"Five....."
The Songaski tossed the bolt aside, pushing against the wound just briefly before starting to mutter in Sofaal through her tears.
"Then, forever..I am yours."
The woman's hand lit up, emitting a pale orange light, her little chant had up until that point been idle words about the Sun and her ancestors. The light did it's work, healing the woman's wound enough so that the blood had stopped and she could breath through the pain.
Fathiyaa had kept her eyes closed, they'd shut after the bolt broke and throughout the healing process. Finally letting her hands fall to her sides while the light faded as did the battle from her ears. The Songaski didn't wake for the rest of the battle, being found still alive by her people after the fighting had stopped.
