Long ago about a year ago when I first join Massivecraft, there used to be events for nearly every month or every public holiday. One of these included a huge 3 leveled maze and finally reach a house and go on a treasure hunt for diamonds. I was thinking maybe to bring these back as I personally and so did many others enjoy these great events that were organised by the staff.

This is a good idea. Role-Play is fun still, but there needs to be more spice.

Creeperween is coming back this month.

We largely stopped organizing those events after the huge logistical disasters of the last easter and valentine celebrations.

Maybe Massive could create their own celebrations, as some of the celebrations are to do with religions non-existent in game terms. Easter, Christmas and Valentine's day are Catholic. Halloween is Pagan.
 
Maybe events such as the discovery of certain continents? For example the day's in the year when Regalia was opened, Daendroc, etc...
