SUMMARY: Bring back blood magic please it adds diversity to the dark/ evil magic community.

STORY: I just started writing my char applications for 2 blood mage characters, as i had finished working out the lore inconsistency, and i wanted to have the blood magic page open whilest i was writing and i found that it wasnt there. When i asked ign they said it was removed. Long story short this greatly upset me, i feel i can confidently say im not the only one upset by this.

BLOOD MAGIC PERKS: Blood magic has numerous perks to the magic community. Blood magic is greatly needed because of the lack of dark/evil magic in aloria. Taking away a magic type limits the community and gets rid of pre-exsisting blood mages. I personally thought that this was an amazing magic and the opportunities for it to cause character enrichment are very prominent.

(this is extra and is just a suggestion)
BLOOD MAGIC TYPES:

Bending: basic form of blood magic, manipulating the blood similarly to the way water mages do with water.
spirit chains: rare difficult form of blood magic that binds two individuals together psychically. This is accomplished by symmetrical cuts on the mage and the victim. The participant share psyical sensations ,but not talents or skills.
Transfusion: Secondary form of being able to bend another persons blood. This takes a very heavy amout of magical power and can quickly fatigue the mage depending on there skill level.
Clot Combat: Using and bending blood as a physical object such as barriers and weapons. This is achieved by weaving the platelets in the blood closely together to achieve a hardness. This can cause quick fatigue as it requires large amount of blood outside of the body (depending on the weapon size or density). The hardness of the blood is determined by the mages skill level and the amount of blood in the object. (example a hollow dagger would be easier to use and cause less fatigue, but be very fragile. While a solid weapon will cause fatigue more quickly but will be much more stable and effective in combat.)

This is not what this section is for. Also your reasoning that it adds evil magic is not sound. Magic is a tool, the wielder decides if it is evil or not.

its my oppion and thts not what im saying blood magic is considered wrong or evil in many myths and lores aswell in aloria when it exsisted.

This definitely is the wrong section. However, I believe @Sight the only approved blood Mage is intending to rewrite the lore to be a bit more cohesive to a roleplay universe.

which thread would be more approprate? also im just upset by the removing of this im over joyed to hear it might come back, im just afraid it would be turned into a wimpy sort of pointless magic. In my opinnion the only problem with the orignal blood magic thread was that there where no specific on what a blood mage couldnt do.

Magic is only wimpy if you characterize it as so. Blood magic was overpowered in some ways and we need to take extreme care to ensure it isn't abused. That's part of why it was originally removed.

As for section, this would probably be better for general.

Thank you for the tag @Ryciera and yes you are correct, I am working on writing up some new lore for blood magic. The previous lore on blood magic was, as far as I am concerned, incomplete and lacking in several aspects. I'll be looking to cover the basics of what blood magic's intents and purposes are, how it can become a balanced part of the community, and hopefully add some neat trivia for all of you lore-buffs out there!

I see blood magic as a more in-mobile type thing, like voodoo in a basement type thing.

well a person carries blood in there body and it is quiet dangerous to mess with something that important in your own body, so i think this aspect of it is quite balanced.

This is already a thing, unless it's changed, water magic has this branch called Bodily Water.
EDIT: So it is still a thing. I guess you'd need a good reason/backstory as to how your character has it....

I think if blood magic was removed, no one would notice. Like, it is so rare, you would probably never see anyone using it, as it is a extremely rare/hidden form of magic. It's not used like fire magic, where you see every other person using it.
