こんにちは
"Kon'nichiwa"
Hello everyone. I haven't really properly introduce myself,
so why not introduce myself to you lovely people. My IGN name is
Luminousa, but my real name is Emma. A lot of people tend to call me Lumi
or Emma. I decided to do this just so that you can all get to know me personally.

Without further a due, I shall begin my biography for all of you lovely
idiots who actually care about my biography.

Personal info on me is kinda basic.
In my personal life, I'm a teenage girl and I
currently attend High School. I'm a sophmore and
I'm focusing on making a career in either animation, writing
or singing. I personally love those three choices, but it's difficult
to make one choice. I'm sure y'all put up with it and you understand why
it's difficult to make a decision. It hurts to decide on what I want to do.

I'm absolutely in love with music,
Anime, books, art, and mathematics. I love
all of those things that I listed. Music makes me feel
relaxed and at ease which explains why I have about 1000
songs on my iPhone. Currently in my life, I have siblings
and I will not list who they are because that is simply weird.

Aside from me liking music, I love
Anime and Manga. I've possibly read about
100 different types of manga and I've watched about
20 different types of Anime. My favorite anime is Sailor Moon
because I love the idea of being a Sailor Scout. Since I am Aries,
my Zodiac planet is Mars, meaning I would be Sailor Mars.
I'm always looking for recommendations on different types of
Anime or Manga. Please feel free to write some down below.

My art style that I use is mainly 90's,
but I tend to use modern art style too. I feel that
90's manga style is best fitting for me since I never really
grew up in the 90's. You 90's kids are so old like RIP. Anyhow, aside
from that, I also adore reading. Reading helps me think and I love many
Fantasy and Romance books. PLEASE give me book recommendations.

I'm running out of fantasy book ideas and I need HELP!

One more thing to know is that I am
always here for everyone. I cannot stand allowing
people to be upset. I always wish to see smiles on people each
and everyday and I hope you all wish to see those smiles with me. It
hurts to see someone filled with sadness. Just know for those who do tend
to struggle in real life, I am always here. Please feel free to send me a PM

on here and I'll reply as soon as possible. Just know I'm here.

Hey there, Emma! I'm actually much newer than you, from the looks of it, but I'm trying to get into the habit of reaching out and saying hi to people and getting involved in the Massive community.

I'm quite the bookworm myself, so I should be able to throw some recommendations your way. What's a couple of your favorite series? So I can get an idea of what you're into.

Welcome to the server! For the record, idiots like me aren't actually lovely IG or IRL... that's why we're idiots. I don't think I've seen you around yet but you're a very welcome addition to the server! Feel free to ask if you need any help(my IGN is the same as here) and most importantly, never forget to feed the Birb... he gets cranky otherwise

Ahhh! It's a pleasure to meet you.

Some of my favorite book series include:
  • Throne of Glass - (Sarah J Maas)
  • Inkheart - (Cornelia Funke)
  • Chronicles of Narnia - (CS Lewis)
  • And tons more!!

Wheel of Time series, much like Lord of the Rings, Narnia, and the like, magic, orcs (called trollocs or something) wars battles strategy kingdoms and everything, unlike Frodo though the main Three characters all end up with lovers and relationships and their own stories, all three linking together and dividing into the series to make a completely amazing series, I have read MANY series and this is by far my favorite. The first one is the Eye of the World. WARNING: Slow start. It gets super interesting. I mean... SUPER especially later into the series.

Also: Im also a sophomore, and a small love for anime (my sister trumps my love tenfold) Full Metal Alchemist isnt that bad, it's a lot like Black Clover, Attack on Titan, Tokyo Ghoul, and the like, I do really recommend it.

I haven't heard about about Wheel of Time. I may need to find it in the library and read it. Thanks and yes I adore anime. Full Metal Alchemist is on my list of animes that I need to watch next year. Currently trying to finish Sailor Moon.

You seem to read a lot I would like to have recommendations for books to read from you lol.

Anyways here's a few anime series I really enjoyed: Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Baccano!, Natsume Yuujinchou, Steins; Gate, Hunter X Hunter, Kimi no Na Wa, Mushishi, Puella Magi Modoka Magica, Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic etc...

I recommend the Maximum Ride book series by James Patterson.

It's about a group of kids who were test tube babies, and genetically engineered to be 10% avian (bird). So they all have wings, and they escape from the science lab they were being held and are on the run from the scientists who created them!

Theres some good romance in there too

Good taste! I'm a little on a different part of the spectrum, but I'll recommend my favorites. The Wheel of Time series, as CorrosGaming suggested, is definitely worth reading, so I second that.

Though a little on the mature side, the Witcher series is fantastic, even if the author is kind of a twit (Start with The Last Wish). If you've ever read any of the Arthurian stories, The Mists of Avalon is an excellent retelling from the perspective of the major female characters. Even if you're not all that into Sci-Fi, I will always, always highly recommend the Dune series, by Frank Herbert. Fantastic setting with amazing, engaging characters, and the political intrigue is golden. One of my personal favorites of all time.

Jim Butcher's Codex Alera series is good too; you'd start with Furies of Calderon. Although technically 'children's fantasy', the Redwall series by Brian Jacque is a cult classic. Dragon Rider by Cornelia Funke and the Septimus Heap series by Angie Sage are also geared more for a younger audience, but still worth reading. If you're in the mood for some pulp fantasy, the classic Conan stories by Robert Howard are good too; Red Nails is a good anthology of short stories while Hour of the Dragon is the full-length novel detailing Conan's fight for his kingdom, also good.

Finally, if you're in the mood for a laugh, I highly, highly recommend the Hitchhiker's Guide series by Douglas Adams. Even for non sci-fi fans, I feel like at least the first book is a must-read. It's hilarious, and there's a reason it's a classic among nerds.

I hope my recommendations help! And don't hesitate to throw a message my way if you have questions or want to talk about books in general. Take care!

Ooooo!!! Thanks for the recommendations. I'll add them to my list! Thanks! Also I love books like so much.

I've read Jim Butcher's series that you said. It was good.

AHHH I love the Witcher! I literally just bought The Last wish, Blood and Elves. I'm super excited to read about Geralt and his backstory!

Another Witcher fan! You'll enjoy those. CD Projekt Red does a fantastic job of portraying the layers of Geralt's character, but it's really interesting to see his origins and read how he interacts with the complex setting that Adrzej presents.

Ooooo!!! Thanks for the recommendations. I'll add them to my list! Thanks! Also I love books like so much.

I've got two bookshelves and more than two bookshelves-worth of books to speak for my bibliophilia, with no sign of stopping. I've had to avoid going to the library recently because every time I do, I wind up rescuing a bunch of books from the "Free" bin even though I know I have no room for them!
