Jocelyn von Duerr’s Sawbones Charter attempt to find a means to cure Zzarlo’s disease by exposing blood samples of Ailor, Url, Dakkar and Circci subjects to various treatments. Despite scepticism about curing disease through blood mending going against traditional medicine, the order gains access to the necessary tools and commences their tests. After spending about 3 days staring intently at all blood samples and seeing no difference between infected and uninfected samples. The Url sample however did something entirely unexpected. When exposed to either skin rash scrapes or infected blood, the testers remarked that the blood was “as if coming alive like a tentacled beast with liquid sprawls, avoiding the infected tissue”. When attempting to more forcibly inject the infected substance into Url blood, the Url blood seemed to recoil and eventually cause some sort of violent reaction that forcibly ejected the blood samples away from the testing equipment. Due to the violent explosion of infected material splashing all over the place, Jocelyn von Duerr as well as his compatriots Mathias Cailloux, Zaan Haaven, Raina Wodenstaff, Uncle Schey, Shen Zhi and Vlu’xilkik were all infectedm, if they had not been prior, or become carriers if they are unable to be infected, with no progress made towards a cure, though someone did remark how it would have been useful if they had equipment that could prospect the properties of blood better than just staring at it for hours.

In the Peirgarten lands of Lorhauser, Ravenstad forces still occupied the lands. In the cover of night, all over Lorhauser, hirelings struck at the estates and prisons where Peirgarten relatives were taken captive by the Ravenstad forces. Through false flagging, distractions and knowledge of the local landscape, the mercenaries were able to liberate the vast majority of the Peirgarten relatives, and spirit them away in the night to Vixhall. While the Ravenstads suffered no major casualties, they did capture several mercenaries who gave away the name of their employer: House Ombre.

Consul Sigurna Wodenstaff sent her personal retinue army to the Regalian landing zone near Rië but made no further action.

Virathus Krupp moved a host of individuals and organizations north to Drixagh in an attempt to soothe local aggression against the Opper Calem individuals. While the moot of nobility is assembled, it appeared far less welcoming of Krupp than it had been in the past - that is to say, even barons and Earls that previously supported Krupp’s actions remained silent and stoic throughout the gathering as they heard what was being said. Even with Krupp’s companions as well as Eske Ulfmaerr, Reimund d’Vaud, Avilda Ignaard and Inkeri Årud present, who announced their intention to keep the moot violence free, it was fairly obvious that the moot itself was armed to the teeth and actually outnumbering Krupp’s forces.

When Bangsius Ostrokrupp spoke, he was quickly interrupted by the Velheimer Earls, chanting he had no right of speaking about inheritance and legacy when he himself was the freshest military failure at the hands of his own incompetent commander who sent him into the lair of the beast. The moot refused to hear his words further.

Solaine d’Vaud was heard out, but eventually shouted down when she finished speaking, the Barons and Earls believing that they had seen through the aggressive resettlement policy set forward, and that any false intentions of reconstruction were both unwanted and rejected as falseness.

Finally, Cerridynn Ulfmaer spoke, though as soon as she started speaking of visions, the Velheimer earls actually pelted her with bread and mugs of ale, saying she spat on the gods by pretending to receive visions when this was only for the Staargir. A self proclaimed priestess would not utter such heresies in their presence, and many started leaving.

Krupp’s own words were refused to be heard as the assembly became more hostile, until eventually the notable Earl Vladimir Vladislav stepped forward and pronounced the Velheimer dissent to Krupp:

“You are a nobody. Your false crown was given to you by foreigners, your troops were donated to you by other greater houses, your name means nothing, tou have done nothing, you are nothing. You are Huust. When you came by grace of the Emperor we respected your actions as blessed by the short angry man who wields the fate of Humanity and massive armies. When the Undercrown came to battle, we fought with the Emperor’s arm. But without his word and with only a bloody vote backing up your word, you are meaningless. Either challenge one of the military three to a Hjemgang or piss back to the corner you came from. Our people still serve the Emperor, but not a paper holding cup sustained by crutches from silk and wheat land.” - and with that, all the assembled simply left the room, quietly and peacefully and the moot had ended.

House Kade initiates the next chapter of the Brissiaud crisis, by marching 42,000 troops down to the Hinterlands, to occupy the capital of the Ravenstad lands. With no defensive capabilities left beyond some simple militia, the Ravenstad lands simply surrender as their entire army is still locked up in the Peirgarten lands. With the landside surrendered, 15 battleships under Robert Burke sail to lock in the Ravenstad ships who choose not to engage, outnumbered three to one. The Kade forces then send out messengers across the Hinterlands to announce:

“House Kade establishes that Renly Kade, son raised by both Percy Ravenstad and Cedromar Kade is the true heir to the Kingdom of the Brissauds, being a reflection of his colossal adoptive father and a strong heir to the Kade lineage, as opposed to a weak and sick Ravenstad blood son, or a line of assassinated and failed short rulers, appealing to Percy’s strength that is only manifest in his adopted son Renly, and the Imperial Spirit that will reside in him by the Emperor’s grace.”

Kade forces do not inflict any damage on the local lands in clear daylight, however, each time when a messenger has left a town or hamlet, mysteriously, economic businesses are torched, raided or burgled before anyone can act. A complete campaign of economic terror is unleashed on the Hinterlands, attacking financial businesses all over the countryside, while the Kade forces profusely deny responsibility. Due to the increased conflict and chaos in the Hinterlands, the Kade forces do not march onward to Peirgarten or Rosendahl lands, attempting to secure peace and control over the Hinterlands while the people suffer under the economic sabotage, thus leaving the Rosendahl and Peirgarten lands untouched.

Not all Orders were processed, and some partially. This is because there were too many orders suddenly. The remainder of the gang/elven war/Zzarlo's disease related orders will be processed on the next one.

Count Krupp would immediately challenge the first to heed his challenge among the three to Hjemgang, and duel each of the damned men if they so pleased. He had no patience left.

Ida facepalmed at the first notion. She facepalmed so hard it left a red mark. Muttering something, a new idea popped up in her mind. Grinning, she goes to write and finish packing to take her leave.
