Blackjaw's Battalion.

The Battalion, as it is known by those that are friendly with the Clan Blackjaw, as well as those who find their employment in such encompasses two 'organisations' or sorts. The first, and most well-known within the city is the Blackjaw's Battalion mercenary company, led by the King-Baron Blackjaw himself. During their short time spent in the city, they've captured Silven on behalf of the guard, taken a variety of protection jobs, slain a Troll and brought in Kathar to the ever-present and looming Greygate. Their tasks within the city, and out, are varied and rewarding for those with the bravery and gall to sign up.

The second-half of the Battalion, is the noble Clan Blackjaw's House Guard. Tasked with protecting various members of the Clan within the city, often acting as their entourage and should they be qualified enough, occasionally even trusted advisors.

All in all, the Battalion are a proud group of warriors and soldiers alike, their current number is vastly made up by Dwarves, Url and Northerners and it's not uncommon to hear them boast of their aptitude for cold-weather combat and hard-terrain combat.
