Spoiler: Art of Birrani Life Story Birrani was born in southern Drowda, to his parents Jedda (mother) and Iluka (father). Both were former Minoor Altalar who were disillusioned with the pacifist nature of the culture, thus Birrani was born with the Northern Taint. He lived in a family with four other brothers, leading him to often resort to fending from himself and maturing quite early. Due to the fact he was born in the Hold of Ellatrix, he was nurtured in a highly orthodox and nativist community. This has helped inform his worldview - one that often comes to loggerheads with some other more pragmatic Sihndar. However, he was also drilled to respect the authority of the Sihn-Fallar and this has tempered his rash tendencies. At a young age, he was taught how to be a good swordsman, as well as engaging in his own studies on the side. Despite being quite studious in nature, he was obsessed with developing his own skills of warfare in the hope of one day being a powerful and strong Sihndar warrior. His mother made sure that he learned conventional skills, like healing alchemy, and his father introduced him to archery which was the family's area of specialty. Birrani travelled to Daen, in particular, Tanaar Ivaelle, to learn about the outside world. There, received an education at a local academy, where he brandished his unarmed capabilities but hated every moment of it. It was clear that he preferred to be armed. He turned instead to selling his wares as a Body Artist, replicating the Sihndar war tattoos for some extra charity to support the struggle in Drowda. He decided to travel to the Crown City of the Regalian Empire in search of new opportunities to learn, as he did in Daen. Viewing it as another learning curve to becoming the better warrior, a more competent strategist, in the hopes of returning to Drowda with more to show for himself.
