Ahhh... The Legend of Zelda... By far one of the greatest gaming franchises ever. Dozens of games, and almost all of them are good. Key word: Almost (cough cough, CDI.)

I am sure that anyone who has played Zelda has a favorite game in the franchise. And I am sure that you have a least favorite.

What is your favorite and least favorite? Give me some really good reasons why, not just "This game sucks 'cause it is like SOOO 64-bit and not, like totally 1080p." Also, I am excluding the CDI games because they are not canon.

My favorite is The Wind Waker because I find that to all of the Zelda games, it encompasses the spirit of adventure the most. Its large world with so many islands to explore, beautiful art style, and charming characters. The story was amazing too. Made me laugh. Made me cry. And the sound track gives me chills just listening to it.

My least favorite is 4 Swords, as the multiplayer aspect does not lend itself to Zelda games very well. Some of the puzzles are too easy, and items aren't always used effectively. Though, the new items added were quite good. Over all, it was a good game, but not a great game.

Ive only played the 4 swords. Wasn't a big Zelda fan.

I have to agree with you on Wind Waker, there is nothing like it in terms of art style and the places you go. On the other hand you can't forget Ocarina of Time. It defined the standards for future 3D Zelda games and if we didn't have it who knows how good Zelda games would be today.

As for my least favorite. Got to go with Skyward Sword. I felt they tried to combine Twilight Princess and Wind Waker in terms of Art Style it just didn't work for me, still good in terms of story though.

The best one is Twilight Princess in my opinion. It had a beautiful landscape, the story was really awesome but also very sad at some times, the gameplay was good to. I'm not sure which one is my least favorite, but I guess I stick with 4 swords to for the exact same reasons you listed.

The best one is Twilight Princess because its simply amazing. The story, the characters, the difficulty, the puzzles are essential to the game (Curse the Water Temples). It is a perfect game to start off with when new to the Zelda Series, and is so disturbing/realistic/fantastic/mysterious... and the ending.... ;-;

There is no such thing as a worst Zelda game.

Nayru= Goddess of Wisdom

Nayru= Blue

Blue= Water

Water= Nayru

Water= Wisdom

Water temples test your wisdom. Thats why they are so hard.

Best: Ocarina of Time. It arguably had the best storyline. I'm also a bit biased because it was the first from the series that I had played.

Worst: 4 Swords. I just think it's kind of dry and way too easy. Also, exploring was definitely one of the best experiences for me in the Zelda series and it was kind of limited in this game since there was no overworld. It didn't feel genuine.

Best Zelda game: Twilight Princess. Come on, the storyline was fantastic. Playing Link as a wolf was awesome. The soundtrack was incredible, and Midna was great.

Worst: Don't make me choose! I LOVE IT ALL SO MUCH

When it comes to sound, I think Link Between Worlds and Skyward Sword are at a tie. The in-game sound of Link Between Worlds is amazing and the soundtrack of Skyward Sword is... indescribable.

When it comes to gameplay, I can't choose. I haven't played enough.

Worst game:

Best game is definitely Zelda 2 Links adventure.

Best:
Skyward sword.
It was refreshing to see such a different Zelda game with so many new mechanics,races, and areas. The constant rebattling of Demise's forms (too lazy to look up the name) was a bit overdone but still. I feel that Skyward sword also had a lot of memorable characters.

And that music! Ohmygawd that music! Beautiful!

Worst: Spirit tracks.
So many things about this game just infuriated me. Mainly the songs; more so the last song in the game. That last song makes me wish that the villain had won and Zelda would still be dead.

Suprised no one has put A link to the past as favorite yet. It's not my favorite, But it's still suprising.

Favorite: A tie between Ocarina Of Time, Majora's Mask, And A Link Between Worlds. I just don't know why They're all so amazing.

Least Favorite: Four Swords. Why is that game so.... The singleplayer was just weird with the switching between links, and the puzzles were easy.

There all amazing... I just can't choos- Ocarina of Time.

Wait, Majoras Mask!

No... Wind Waker!

All three!

Best story would be a tie between Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess.

Best music would be A Link Between Worlds and Skyward Sword

Worst game overall would be Majora's Mask: I like the minish part, but it is too easy and short. (Even though I beat A Link Between Worlds really easily)
