LISTING I
Heard from Cordilaire - An Ax in our barn
In a spar, there was a time where I dodged and my brother almost took out the support of the house.
He had just come back from Lion Pelt training and was using his brand new Beorl ax.
My Grandfather was overseeing the fight as he usually did with bouts between myself and my brother- I'm proud enough to say I was doing quite well! Must've been fear of losing my head to a Beorl Ax that made me lighter on my feet. I made the mistake of trying to block it and got a nasty cut on my arm because he was pulling his swings. He crashed right through my shield and gashed me- sent me tumbling into the side of the bar. I started goading him because he told me it'd be over in one hit. And it wasn't at least to me.
He didn't hold back against Lil' ol' me at all. He swung his ax high and within a blaze of fury! Leaving me to duck right under it in his rage. Leaving a severed beam behind me that cracked and suddenly dropped. Bringing a bit of the roof with it down. Lion pelt are pretty intense when they train. I felt it'd be nice to spar on his terms before, but I was mistaken. I won through in the end. My victory was because I survived longer. I got to hold that prize over his head for as long as we grew up.

Tori - A blink back into Østryll
Tori, a very recent friend, talked to me about one of her favorite pass-times for spring. She ended up digging up those old memories of here and we both had a little chat over some drinks. Tori comes from Østryll, a nation in the Essalonia region. I never really visited many of the states in that area but it was rather close to home. I liked to visit one day and experience those outdoor pools for myself one day. Pay some tribute for how pleasant Tori was. She's a lovely girl with some high hopes to bring back some luck while she stays in the city.
God's Speed Tori, I'm rooting for you.

Seasonal Recipe
Ah, here's a favorite for fresh times like spring. I don't eat many things from the water but these have always been a favorite if I could get my hands on the clams. It's very important you get them during the spring season too. Thats when the fresh ones start to spawn.
Spring Clams
A small pallet of freshwater clams, potatoes and spring onions. It's good for a long needed lunch or quick meal on the occasion. Cheap too, just be careful of the clams you buy.

LISTING II
Time spent in Anglia - Serlida
You'll rarely find some of the best hiking trails anywhere else in the archipelago other than northern Ewtirngal, Angalia. If any of you reading have ever been, you know what I mean, as for sightseeing it's one trip in itself. It's a range of long colorful slopes and patches of pines that fill up thin forests along the more steady regions. The colored mountains are constantly painted in the snow along with trail ways that branch out to the many of the residential cabins and hamlets that line the cliffs. But, for the sport of hunting, I'll have to spend another night there myself. Time spent in Anglia - Serlida
While my Anglian is rusty, the term Ewtirngal means Goat Passage in a mix of words. The state itself is most famous for the color the ram's horn produces, being speckled black that looks similar to black iron. And because of the many rhinestone cowboys that want to get up on their high horse and poach for a bit of coin, it's made the rams there so preciously smart. It may be a turn down for some, but it puts a thrill on the bottom of my heart that I can't get anywhere else.
A young man by the name of Mikhail was my guide for my trip, he's lived his entire life on the ranges and had a thick accent for his common. He was kind to people he took out on the ranges and was always excited to hear their stories. As we rode he would talk my ear off about the northern states and what I did for work. But the day went on we rode out at dawn and set up on the eastern trails after preparing ourselves. As for our steady trip upwards, we spent some time walking; and I'll say carrying my rifle case hadn't been the most comfortable experience as a bow would've been. But I was glad I brought it as I did. The yearlings we saw from a distance were in the range of some two hundred meters. Mikhail hadn't believed me when I said I could hit it. As when loading my rifle he questioned me about it. Sometimes I forget people aren't like the ones in the city and didn't have the same sort of knowledge as them. But as I fixed my position to shoot, I had simply commented to the man to watch the ram. He turned a glance back to me that looked confused and perturbed. And as I prepared myself and fired, I hit the yearling a bit high over its right shoulder. The ram dropped after a couple of loose steps along the cliffside. Mikhail who had looked as if he saw an angel of the spirit come down and kill the goat itself said: "You regalians can keep more secrets than is good for ya." He was more than surprised for his first time seeing such a long shot, as on our ride back to the cabins he wanted to look at my rifle and potentially ask for one himself. I think he thought I had made it myself. Mikhail was a bit distraught by the reality of it once I told him. But I have hope for the man. Maybe you'll get it one day.
Till next time you read. I'll see you cowboy. - L.
