Backstory

Little is known of the origins of the so-called 'Whitecape Bandit-Prince' who is Berenguer. Some say he is the actual child of a Daneroque noblewoman, given to peasents, while others claim him to be just a peasent from a ruined household. What is known is that some point, he served as a worker from a farmstead, and that a band of bandits stole his monthly earnings. From that day onwards, he has not earned a single coin honorably. Kidnappings, extortion, banfitry, little was enough for Berenguer, who quckly gathered a group of outlaws.

Eventually, he decided that home, while fun and varied, wasn't enough, and he remade his entire group of Outlaws into the Mercenary Company known as the Aggrieved Vultures– nobles, exiled, disinhereted, or from fallen households, peasents who seeked a better future, bandits that wanted to go legal... This mixture soon proved increadibly fearsome, for their tactics were asimetrical, causing devastation as they were hired, money, and Tierraveran autonomy and independence always being their main goals.

In the last seven years, however, Berenguer's latest ploy has succeded. By means best unknown, he has earned positions within the Commerce Guild– What hooks might he have on the people within, are obviously not as known, but they are willing to overlook his more unsavory methods of collecting money.
