"ABOUT BACK!"
The sergeant ordered,

"
AMBUSH POSITION"
The sergeant ordered,

"
ABOUT RIGHT"
The sergeant ordered,
and the Cielothar complied

This was the first drill the Imperialised Nelfin had undertook;
to comply was necessary,
to succeed was a requirement to advance

The Cielothar breathed, and blinked, as the patrol began

As his eyes opened, they were met with his commanding officer pointing the barrel of what seemed like a cannon to a woman exiting the sewer, on account of her eyes

As he blinked once more, he recalled, he had flung himself off a ledge in pursuit of this creature
In the next moment of recollection, he was cuffing the stranger, a smile of adoration plastered over his lips

He felt it, this smile, it persisted
It persisted as he shackled the thing to the walls,
It persisted as he watched it writhe and suffer in pain and in agony at it's cure,
It persisted as he watched it be lashed and stricken under the daunting clouds and hissing rain

The Cielothar, poisoned into Sanguine-hood, freely enacted the spell of his Wrath,
Upon that which decieved him,
Upon that which distorted him,
Upon that which denied him,

The Cielothar, who had discovered a purpose, found
His Wrath was Benevolent,
His Wrath was Calm,
His Wrath was Bliss,
And everything it needed to be

~OOC~

This has been a step into the mind of a Cielothar, plagued by Sanguinism, who finds his Wrath expressed through passive actions; smiling lovingly as it's carried out in a calm, serene manner.

I wanted to write this because I want to emphasise the effect of Sanguinism on different individuals in different walks of life with a focus on how it might contort a Cielothar's mind to express disdain and wrath in an affectionate and almost loving way, where Cielothar aren't stereotypically known in this Universe for those former qualities

His 'racial tendencies' still exist, but are only the surface level now
Beneath, he is fundamentally different

If you made it this far down, thank you for reading and I hoped you enjoyed it!
