Within the community, i've seen so many players being banned, but for what reasons? Some say they've been banned for hacking or other misconduct, which should be fine, but should only be fine if their "claims" are backed up by evidence. Its how our justice system works in real life and should be implemented into the staff 's disciplinary agenda. Players should be able to view the evidence from an accredited staff member that led to the decision of banning [named] player. So, why am I pushing for this? It's only fair for players and most likely the best way to keep player disparity between staff and players from spreading even more. I am also pushing for this change so there isn't any mis-bans and unfairness in the Massivecraft Community. Having proof by your side when showing to a banned players not only improves trust between staff members, but also allows players to understand why they're banned and not just banned for an abnormal reason. There should always be some sort of evidence that proves that, that person should be banned for this reason and should be Beyond Reasonable Doubt. The communication between staff and players are lacked, but can be fixed if a few changes would be implemented. These changes, of course are only beneficial and nothing but beneficial and would only increase player happiness and players from leaving Massivecraft.
Have a thread that that allows players to appeal for their ban case that allows them to view evidence that was either submitted by players or evidence that was agreed upon staff. If staff members aren't willing to show evidence due to privacy issue, the privacy is between the banned player and staff members with all submission names concealed. So again not only is the name concealed so no backlash happens to players, but the banned player is also able to understand why he is banned. Im only able to understand this fustration because i've been there and have been banned for something wrong. It's a really simple solution and if staff members arn't able to show proof to someone that is banned, then that is below Reasonable Doubt. Reasonable doubt should always be above 99% certainty and evidence should be shown between the banned players so they are not feeling that they've been mistreated unfairly of some sort.
So please help push for this change if you strongly believe that this is the way to go, because change can only happen if the community pushes for it. I am only advocating for it.
Thank you.

Agree to this!!! Was banned once for "flying" despite using schematica printer by a now banned staff member, other players knew more about my ban that I did, I asked to see proof, but I was shot down

100% Agree.

So a glitch removed the protection on a spawn point. I had no idea, and mined some wood for chests.

Banned, no clue why. Eventually found out, sure that's fine.

Got back on, and got banned for the same thing, the same blocks, by a different member of staff.

14 year old me was not happy lmao - to be fair this was ages ago, back before I even had a forum's account

I mean they should technically have a gyazo or a prntscr with the evidence associated with the ban.

Im not here to pick holes in your statement. The banned player should get the evidence to why they were banned, the players will be annoymous towards giving evidence, considering they don't want the banned players mates to turn against them or that rubbish, and last but not least, you can submit a ban appeal here: https://forums.massivecraft.com/forums/appeal-your-punishment-track-your-thread.25/ considering, when you make a thread, only you can see it due to privacy.

People included myself dont want to write an appeal and «admit to cheating» when you have dont anything in order to get unbanned.

We already discussed the points of this on a suggestion for hacking and cheating. The reality of reporting however is that 90% of the time they are targeted from a player, while we don't record evidence of non permanent bans.

The concession that was already made was chaining the discussion about cheating and hacking. That is the end of the concession however. I will put my foot down and reject a suggestion for universal evidence revision. Errors can be made when it concerns cheating, which is why that concession is fair. Someone repeatedly using the n-word and getting banned for racism doesn't need to review the evidence however and simply adapt their poor attitude.

I am not willing to see this suggestion through because it absconds reporter anonymity entirely, which is fine for cheating since that is such a tough case but nowhere else. Ban reasons by staff are adequate, descriptive and the fail rate is negligible small. Only one case in the past half year.
