On this day January the 20th, 309 AC, I, Lord Chancellor of Regalia, make the following proclamations.

• On the Subject of the next Assembly, it shall be held on Sunday, January 24th, 309 AC, at 7pm Regalian Reckoning (7pm US eastern). There are several Government Position notices.
  • Whip Minister Klaus Typhonus is seeking a Clerk to handle Interior State communication. Letters can be sent directly to the Lord Chancellor (@LumosJared).
  • Lifeguard Commissioner Dame Stephanie Kreiburg has been relieved of her duties. Applications for the new Commissioner are now open and can be sent directly to the Lord Chancellor (@LumosJared).
  • Positions on the Advisory Cabinet have opened up, therefore applications can be sent directly to the Lord Chancellor (@LumosJared).
  • The Military Commissioner position is vacant, and the Imperial Court Marshal and Lord Chancellor will review applicants in the coming week. Letters can be sent directly to the Lord Chancellor (@LumosJared).
  • The Privy Ministry is seeking Clerks and Individuals skilled with handling information and state security preparation. Letters can be sent directly to the Lord Chancellor (@LumosJared).

• On the Subject of the Lord Chancellory, several purchases have been made by the State that will be released to the public record over the coming weeks, after agreements from both the Financial Minister and the Lord Chancellor.
  • The reconstruction of the old "State House", within which former Arch-Chancellors once resided and used as a residence, will be put into effect after the ongoing reconstruction efforts are finished across the city. It will be refurbished and made the primary residence of the Lord Chancellor during their tenure moving forward, as well as an open house for Nobility and Commoners alike, where political matters and socialization can be had freely. It will be placed within the Capital following the ongoing reconstruction efforts.

• On the Subject of the Violet Order, a new Legal Code has been written. " Law Enforcement Excellence Accord".
  • After deliberation with the Lord Commander Viggo Kensley, it has been decided that the Violet Order shall adopt a "Non-Cruelty and Excellence" legal code. It goes as follows.
  • City Guards shall not torture First or Second Rank Citizen prisoners unless in the most urgent cases of State Security, and approved by the Lord Chancellor beforehand. City Guards may issue light public displays of punishment to facilitate prisoner reformation. City Guards may not kill unless actively defending the life of another. Maiming is strictly disallowed as a punishment. Executions and long sentences in Krakenburg are to be the highest deterrents used for extreme offenders. The Lord Commander of the Violet Order is tasked with overseeing any misuses of Law Enforcement.

• On the Subject of the Occult, The Arcane Bureau has been formed. It encompasses the Arcane Ministry, the Occult Commissioner, and the now reformed Azure Order, led by the Grand Vigil. His Imperial Holiness Alexander the I"s "Imperial Decree on the Magi" ensured the cruel and harmful practices of the old Azure Order would not be repeated. While still committed to controlling and regulating magick usage in the city, the Azure Order is a small, elite force filled with Witch Hunters, Scholars, and White Mages, working in tandem to single out those who misuse either magickal artifacts or powers, and offering a means of service and social advancement to the State and Crown for those gifted with magical prowess.
  • The roster of the Azure Order will initially remain off the public record to maintain state security, but the Grand Vigil, who will lead the Azure Order agents in coordination with the Arcane Minister, is Leufred du Triege (who will maintain the position of Occult Commissioner at the same time). The elite members have already been chosen and will be contacted and begin service in the coming weeks.
  • As an aside, the Lord Chancellor is still accepting those who own Artefact and Mythickal items of note to register in a private letter or meeting to the Lord Chancellor, before more intrusive registration becomes the norm. This full list of owners and their items is privy only to the Lord Chancellor for State Security.
  • A follow-up law addition on the "Occult Power Legislation and Usage" will be made in the next week.

• On the subject of the Foreign Ministry, A Representative from the low kings of Ériu-Innis will be visiting the capital this coming week, to speak with the new Foreign Ministry's Diplomatic Core on a variety of topics. The date will be announced publically within a few days.
  • Other representatives will be called to the Capital, now that the Foriegn Ministry's internal work has been completed. Any interested in inviting a foreign representative to the Capital should seek membership or counsel with those in the Foreign Ministry.

• On the Subject of the Military, The Lord Chancellor publically thanks the Military Cabinet and all military personnel for their tireless service over the winter.
  • After serving at the front of the most recent battle as a Field Commander, the Lord Chancellor will tighten the bond between State and Military further, and join the Military Cabinet formally for a short vigil to honor the fallen, in the next coming military cabinet meeting.

The rulings of this decree take the full effect of State Law.​
