attempts to not die+
GOD DAMNIT I HATE SKELETONS SO MUCH
build a tower between two domes
so a dick statue
sure later when I have resources to spare on aesthetics
Always have resources for A E S T H E T I C S.
( I honestly think it's an actual problem, everything from paying for them I just need those damn skins, hats, new skins for just pure Aesthetic)
You need to make an iron golem later. Maybe snow golems could distract a few mobs.
You know what, after seeing this I think I'll start my own hardcore world.
Yeah, do it! And I could have enough iron to make one, I'll do it when I get home.
minecraft was made solely so you can make male genitalia in a cubic world
More Notes on Hardcore
When mineing it's always good to have a few items for refrance and help. (Signals) During your exploration in a newer mineshaft or cave it's always good to have a signal or trail leading back home, giving you a good idea of your escape root. So general things likes Redstone Torches, Signs, Built Checkpoints anything that sticks out really just get creative!
Forestry for Idiots
Forestry is a simple thing, cut a bunch of trees down get some lumber, but an easy and safe way to stack up on wood is building a Forestry Lodge or Makeing a few spare chest just for wood. A Lodge or Tower can be simple to make, give you a small retreat station when night falls and allows you to stock up on lumber, you can spend days at a time focusing on collecting wood with ease to get back to safety.
Lazy and Still alive
So your one job is to survive in this world, well if you already have enough resources to last you quite awhile it can be good to start being lazy to just retreat back into your home for a few extra days of life. Well? What now? Where just kinda sitting here... That's right a few things you can do in your time down.
(Write a Journal)
Making down plans, building projects and just a general list of reasources you need can be an excellent way to focus on future projects and resources. Such as
3x Brew staions
1x Enchanting Table
10x Book shelves
Other - Books, Brewing Supplies, etc.
<New> Building for the Lab
(Start working on Indoor Projects)
You can spruce up your interior home, start stocking and makeing pots, trade and do economy with the local villagers, farm or even experiment with new techniques and method of fighting and transporting. Or give your armor or weapons an upgrade.
Keep yourself occupied with mindless games such as an Archery Constest, Write a Few stories in a book, take a moment to rest and just enjoy a day, admiring your base and the outside from the comfort of your home.
A whole new world!
Bored and tired of mineing endlessly or farming. Well go out, mount a horse or sail a ship and go out and explore and scout find some jungle ruins, or desert temples, just remember to map where your base is.
This is a special villager that sells a special map that leads you to the Woodland Mansion. That's mainly all I really know about him, but he's a great investment.
When enchanting your armor, it's best to have Projectile Protection for those pesky skeletons. If you've already used an e-table to enchant your armor once, start investing in enchanting books so you can use an anvil to add those enchantments as well.
So your gonna be using a lot of Exp when doing this, a lot books usually take a good 3 lvls for anything preferring good. So remember that chicken farm I mentioned earlier, yeah everything you breed or kill a chicken you get some Xp, so farm the f*ck out of them, squeeze as much Xp out of the little sh*ts as you can.
Well that's all I got for now, safe travels and stay alive.
f3+q is a good shortcut to see the various f3 hotkeys. They're p. useful in terms of loading sounds and chunks.
Also ye, proj prot seems to be a safe bet rn.
I'd say maybe try strip mining instead of cave spelunking, since you'll hardly get lost and you can control where mobs spawn. Just mine around blocks 11 and 12 so the lava doesn't kill ya.
course you've already survived longer than me in any MC SP world. Protip: Even though they look sweet, don't make a treehouse village in the mega tiaga. You will fall and die.
I foresee bad events to come, stay safe and cautious on your travels.
Although, do not lose hope. Keep your souls strong and your will stronger.
New world 3
^ A first look at my new world
^ Ooh, never seen one of these in-game
^ God yes. Free stuff
Wait what? oK hold up, theres a natural building in the snow area that has both a crafting table, furnace and bed?!
Yeah. Now I just need to survive the night and get back there.
Definitely better than day 1
^ shit shit shit no.
^ USED THE FURNACE, MELTED THE ICE, CARPET WASHED AWAY, TRAP DOOR
^ long af ladder
^ woah, spooky
^ Glad I could help
^ GLORY TO THE MOUNTAIN KING
Died. Creeper blew me into lava. Not even a shield can protect me from that hellfire. Starting over again.
day 2 in new world
maybe I won't die
^ Screw big fancy houses. This one has enough space to serve its purpose
^ FULL IRON
I just had to.
I'd likely do this too but I'd hate it without friends.
Day 4 I think. It's a bit hard to tell underground.
^ Tried this mining thing. All I got was a vein of coal and some lava (blocked up with cobble), but I'm hopeful.
^ Tiny island. Could be used as an emergency base, or the entrance to some underground transport system.
^ Might convert this entire thing into farmland someday.
Id just salt the earth in torches so no mobs ever spawn
Day 7: Glass windows.
Some builders can't stand that kind of ugliness.
Yeah, you'd think this. But it has an interesting way of pulling you in once you get a foothold. Gotta survive in a world with monsters around every corner, and only one life.
I'm reading this while eating cereal.
Plz keep updating us.
Yo @Beetletoes this is cool if you're down I can figure out how to host a SP map and we could do this with two or more people
I'd like to do it with people!
dude that'd be great! if you can get that working lemme know
update: checking forums when I have math to do. will do more updates later
^ Found this west of my house. Gonna explore this later, might lead to good cave systems.
^ It's not much, but soon I'll have paper to make a map!
^ Glad these guys were so close. Laying eggs everywhere.
Day 16: Death
^ Massacred my chickens to make some arrows. Sorry dudes.
^ A vital tool in caves. Gotta know the day from the night, am I right?
^ I thought this was andestite, from a difference. I love the look of polished andestite in this texture pack. But no, just gravel. If it was andestite I would have made a mountain fort, and likely survived.
^ Shit I fell
^ Found this beauty while mining. Annoying placement, but I can work around it.
^ New section of the mine.^
^ RIP. At least the chickens were alright.
I'm going to start putting headers at the beginning of each life to make it all cleaner and people can see where the games start.
I've spawned on an island. The entirety is not in this picture, but it's a decently sized piece of land, and will serve as my fortress. There are no trees or animals, but I've sighted trees (likely oak) on a nearby island (not in this picture) and I'll likely find animals too. My main concern is finding sheep so I can make a bed. If I can get some string, I'll be able to make a fishing rod and that'll be an excellent source of food. Additionally, I may make a spiky ring of cacti around my little kingdom (once I find some) to ward off any swimming mobs. Also it's past midnight. Will update later.
Wait.. what happens when one of us betrays the other in Cold blood.
Maybe there's a way to turn off PvP? Can't remember.
Day 3: Everything I see is sea
^ Found this cave in the middle of my central island. I think I'll start my base here, and tunnel down/build up.
^ First sunset. Pretty rad, I say.
^ Ocean temple sighted, along with a handful of guardians. Going to avoid this place, not even going to swim over it.^
^ Got a boat. I have a feeling I'll be using this a lot.
^ Every boat needs a dock. The island in the distance is inhabited by sheep, cows, chickens, pigs, horses, and most importantly, oak trees. I'll use this as my primary wood/food source, as my home island is too small to support a decently-sized farm of any kind.
Going to make an ms paint map of this place, someday. So far three islands have been found, not counting mini-islands off the coast of larger ones.
lmao I died again
will make new world tomorrow
