Introduction
The Aristocratic House Bagshaw is primarily located in Paddiswerth, Bracklewythe, a small town cluttered with houses and businesses. For centuries they have dealt with clothing and fabric Merchantry, with a mostly all-male heir line.
Starting in 192 A.C., House Bagshaw's have always had a bit of wealth to spare here and there. The first Patriarch, Hendrix I, a local clothing merchant, was a bit of an eccentric lad. This is seen in the current Matriarch, Clementine I. Although it is primarily male-heirs, there have been cases of female heirs.
Lastly, the very first surname, of Bracklewythe, fell out of use with the Patriarch, Fletcher "the weird" II, changing it to Bagshaw. Legally, their name is "Bagshaw of Bracklewythe" or sometimes even just "of Bracklewythe" or just "Bracklewythe"

History
History
The year is 109 A.C., and Hendrix I is alive, setting history in stone. He wanders the villages with nothing on his back but the clothes he wore. He finally found Bracklewythe, becoming Hendrix of Bracklewythe. He married a local woman, Eleanore of Riverfort, the first known ancestors of the current lineage.
Whether or not Hendrix and Eleanore are real or mythical figures made up by the Bagshaw family to further their wealth is to be disputed, but most Bagshaw's take their fathers and mothers words for it. Hendrix only rises to power through Eleanore, and Eleanore gives birth to Edison I of Bracklewythe. Edison goes on to do many great things, stabilizing the house's wealth, marrying off his kids and siblings to other powerful families in the region.
As the house came into modern times, they had to take on a different, new name. The current Patriarch at this time, Fletcher "the weird" I of Bracklewythe, changed the name to Bagshaw of Bracklewythe. Although, some older lines of the house still use "Of Bracklewythe" or simply "Bracklewythe".
The current Matriarch, unlike most other Matriarchs, cannot be denied. Clementine Bagshaw is a controversial one amongst the family and many other Heartland Ceardians, but her presence cannot be denied.
