So... I guess I'll just plop whatever massivecraft art I've made here. .u.

Have a sick yanar and a lore-breaking wasp-vissi abomination. (Trying to draw skinny limbs on it kept making me feel like they'd just snap in half if it tried to walk. I guess that's what years of trying to make viable fantasy creatures for worldbuilding purposes does to you. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I really, really need to get into drawing more exaggerated proportions... the small waist was as far as I could push the proportions before I felt like it was getting silly. .-. )
EDIT: Have an extra doodle that I forgot to upload. I just discovered that non-Caucasian humans are literally nonexistent and not canon (warning- medieval history rant inside)
, which is kind of silly and is probably going to be the one bit of lore I ignore completely. Even if it's for "accuracy to medieval times", that's still wrong because there are countless pieces of evidence indicating that pre-slavery Britain was pretty darned diverse ESPECIALLY in the arthurian romances which often refer to knights "dark of hair and face" and DON'T STOP TALKING ABOUT THE KNIGHT MORIEN IS BLACK, I'M NOT EVEN EXAGGERATING. TRANSLATED IT LITERALLY STATES AND I QUOTE "He was all black, even as I tell ye: his head, his body, and his hands were all black, saving only his teeth. His shield and his armour were even those of a Moor, and black as a raven…" LIKE TWO MILLION TIMES, indicating they actually knew they existed and tolerated them to at least some degree, which for the time was significant taking into account that everyone was xenophobic back then. Not to get into how Moors may have predominantly lived in certain regions of europe, but likely spread all across the continent. My inner bitter history nerd weeps. No offense intended toward the lore writers, however! I'm certain you had a good reason for it. [/RANT]

So anyway, have a quick portrait of a knight! It might be lore incompliant, but this is my first time really giving metal shading a shot. I'm a bit proud of how it turned out! :D sir morien.png

I use Paint Tool SAI with the binary tool for the most part, but I still use MSPaint for the base sketch despite how primitive it can be. It's where I learned to make digital art and I'm still not quite ready to let it go.

Knew you used Sai. :'D How do you use the binary tool? I tried and I sucked at it. How do you do it?

It takes a loooot of practice to even get remotely okay with it, but drawing tablets can really rocket you forward! Long, smooth, sweeping movements are the key to getting nice non-jaggedy binary lines. There's always going to be those lines that just come out badly no matter how many times you try them, though. The eraser tool usually saves the day then. Also, sharp looking lines are basically impossible without erasing their edge, so don't worry if they come out looking a bit soft and blobby.
I'm sure somebody talented as you will get into the swing of things quickly, however! Just play around with it for a bit and you'll figure it out.

Oh! Another important question for you now! Do you have a DeviantART account..?
