I believe it is like 21 minutes during the day and 17 minutes at night. (not completely sure though)I agree, this is useless.
There is already a system that Mojang made; about 13 minutes for a day and 12 minutes for night (Something like that).
Yes, it should be 10 minute day, 8 minute night and 2 minutes twilight. It can be longer on massivecraft due to lag.The Day/Night cycle, in total, is 20 minutes long.

This man is a genius. Best comment ever. You play in a Blocky world full of Dwarves, elves and vampires ect. Where the extent of combat is who can cram the most god apples in their mouth. Realism is out of the question. XD

Actually, I think it was about 11 minutes of Day (Not counting sunrise and sunset, those are considered niether as no ethereal mobs burn nor spawn because of this for a small, two minute span total) And about 11 minutes of NightTime. So interesting fact, every second in real life is a minute in Minecraft. So if one minute is an hour, and there are 24 hours in a day, you can determine there are about 24 minutes of Minecraft in a 'day'.I believe it is like 21 minutes during the day and 17 minutes at night. (not completely sure though)
Good point there. You play in a Blocky world full of Dwarves, elves and vampires ect. Where the extent of combat is who can cram the most god apples in their mouth. Realism is out of the question. XD
