DISCLAIMER: this post was not made in the reasoning that Caspian is better than y'all. Because of my shortage of actual RP time until a while from now, I need something to help me out with getting some character stuff in when I get finished with CC or before. If you think this is stupid, please exit and go to that unicorns thread or make a 10 paragraph post about how stupid this is. If you try to bring something to my attention and I reply oddly, please be passive about it and don't take anything too personally (not trying to fight but I'm usually passively aggressive when I'm tired). Thank you.
I made a character recently, and he is going for a second shot at staff review. I have plans to make my character a guard (hopefully when cross country ends). If you read up on my character, and find that you want to be in his life story (ally, enemy, etc), that's what I made this for.
Caspian is a half elf/ailor, he is muscularly built for an elf, and he is mainly a warrior/sailor (highly experienced swordsman/warrior). Caspian works for people around Regalia (mainly guarding shops and stuff), as he has not much else to do. Caspian is 64 years old. If you want to be part of his life story, here are the apps:

Hes trying to get his own little group together the way he feels is nessesary. Also this seems to me to be similar to a discussion aboutbhis characters development hes looking for ideas. I say leave him be. Also I have a 60 year old female elf on the shelf right now I can pull for this.

Okay, some of these posts made me laugh. This is one way I thought would help me make my character better for all a you who thought I should just go RP (I also don't have much time for RP atm, so this is what I'm doing for now)

That made me laugh, you don't have to apply. If I meet you in RP I'll add you anyways. (Don't really have much time to meet anyone's characters all that well in RP, I mean sure, walk up to him and say "HI! MY NAME IS..." and run off... But then he doesn't really know you (except maybe he thinks you're weird but the point still stands lol))

If you barely have time for RP you might wanna reconsider the Guard, as it can be rather time consuming.

Okay I realized my failure in grammar and unity there... May the grammar natzis forgive me for my mistakes...

I think you did a good job with the app, even though you didn't add everything the app itself wasn't well structured.
(I will add you, but when did we meet and how? What happened exactly?(and IC btw for the last part))

Okay, to break it down even further: I don't have much free time right now because of cross country (you could have inferred that), I will have time for RP when fall sports end. Please don't try to argue more, I know that if you have the skills, and the character then you are a shoe in for the job. You can only keep it though if you have the time for it, which I will when my schedule opens up. This is in preparation for that.
I'm not here to start an argument, and hate flame wars. Please don't make this thread an irrelevant war of wills. If you want to fight, this isn't the place for it; do it on my profile or in private messaging if you like. I am done fighting, if you post something that makes it seem like you're trying to be offensive or likewise I will not tolerate it or argue along.

I'd recommend listening to someone who's been a guard for over a year, or nearing one (I'm guessing so feel free to correct me) just btdubs I don't think he'll come to another conclusion...

Also, for some company so she doesn't have to burst into ever conversation she hears or needs to say Hello to random person and such. Finally, She needs someone that can back her up if she ever gets in trouble with authority or a higher class in social status than her,
How they came to be allies/companions : It was a lonely October afternoon. Shaern, as usual was relaxing around the streets and talking to random people. It was then when a girl, about in her mid 30s was running around an alley that Shaern happened to be in, being quite stupid saying this, but saying she needed a mentor.... for something that she could not tell. Shaern, being a curious runt, asked her "What type of mentor?" The girl, flips her hair in a odd way to get the hair out of her face, and whispers in her ear "A Fire Magic Mentor"
And from those four words, Shaern was sucked into the world of the Eginhards, Meeting Caspian right away, after the girl who seemed to be his sister literally dragged her to him. They talked and such, and became what could be consider friends.
Now, Shaern twice, three, or four times a week sees Cara to mentor her and teach her the ways of Fire magic.

I know you have experience as a guard @LilDipper_ . I respect that. I have been saying (maybe not exactly in these words but still) that when I do apply, it will be when I have the time.
I know that being a guard can take up your time, and requires a certain amount of your time. I am up to that challenge.
I'm not trying to appear as the nerd who doesn't know what he's saying but will keep fighting (we all know them).
I have acknowledged the fact that it takes time (I thought you would have inferred that. I've researched about guards and being one n all that good stuff).
I've been having a rough week (extremely tired) so I apologize if you've been taking or are taking my slight aggressiveness in a bad way.

Please bare with me and try to infer the obvious (or maybe not so obvious) things, as I am busy and tired.

I have a plan. In fact I have a backup plan. I'm starting to rant. I'll end this here.

It was a cold afternoon in Regalia. Her brother Yuka'ta was playing around in a almost empty alley with people like trouble making person he is. Though, he messed with the wrong person. The person being Caspian. Caspian, pushed Yuka'ta to the ground, in a hard manner and had Yuka'ta start to have a bloody nose. Shaern being the over-protective little sister she is attempted to scorch Caspian, and lead into a full on fight. It ended with Shaern over using her magic and forcing her to leave, lugging her brother with her. To this day she despises Caspian.
{Also this fight was in a alley, so no really knows of the fight expect Caspian and her. So just to clarify if anyone was saying she should be executed by the guards or Azure Order}​

Quite an interesting app. I must say, even though I don't enjoy making enemies, I will have to look this over a couple times and possibly add it.

Someone referred to how long I was in the guard, I corrected them. I'm not here to argue with you, nor do I care to.
 
A bearded elf? If I were to guess, and I am, I would guess that you will have to tone down some things before his is accepted. And...a beard...
Hmm...that said, when he is approved, I think this bearded elf seems like an intriguing ally...and my character is looking for allies...probably not friends though...lets see...

Character's general nature: Hmm...general nature...Ranger. My character is a sneaky elvish ranger who may or may not get along with your over-muscled bearded elf knight. I foresee a lot of sarcasm on my character's part, and a lot of anger on your character's part, in this situation. Then again, I could be wrong.

Why would your character want to be allies with Caspian?: Take into account that this is for allies, not necessarily friends, however I would think that my character would want to be allies with your character to have a bit of muscle to call upon in time of need, and your character would want to be allies with my character for the information and all around assistance he could provide.
How they came to be allies/companions (at least 6 grammatical sentences):
From Caspian's point of view:
Caspian swung his flail around at one of the bandits. Five of them, three humans, an orc, and a dwarf with shoddily made swords and axes had ambushed him on the road, not expecting the giant elvish warrior duel-wielding a sword and flail that awaited them. Caspian himself had not known of their presence until they had attacked, but he wasn't about to let them get away now. He swung his sword at one of the humans, then used the momentum to bring the flail's spiked ball down on another one of them, smashing the man's head and shoulder in and putting him on the ground in a bloody heap. By now the other four had surrounded him though. He was about to try to charge and break out of the encirclement when he heard a whispering 'ffffffsmack' and a feathery shaft buried itself in the neck of the orc. The three remaining bandits looked around frantically for the source of the arrow, but the distraction was enough for Caspian to use. Springing into action, he swung both his flail and his sword at the humans, saving the diminutive dwarf for last. Caught off balance, one of the highwaymen was sliced almost in half by the giant blade, while the other was able to jump back just in time...allowing the spiked ball to catch the dwarf in the head and send him sprawling in a rapidly expanding pool of blood. The last bandit, having narrowly escaped death by the skin of his reflexes twice and not inclined to join his comrades, backed away and took off running down the road. Caspian started to give chase, but then the running man slowed down...and fell over on his face with an arrow in his back. Caspian looked around for the source of the arrow, even as the bandits had done before. Unlike them, he was successful. A little way behind him, standing behind a tree to the side of the road, was a tall man in a black hood and mottled green cloak, with a bow in his hand. "Greetings, spangaer."

From Cruallassar's point of view:
Cruallassar walked along beside the road, his boots making almost no sound as he picked out the best path that wasn't the one most men took. He wore his green cloak on this trip, this area of Ithania wasn't always safe, and it was Cruallassar's preference to make sure it wasn't safe for others rather then himself. His bow was on his back, his quiver of arrows poking through a slit in the cloak for the purpose, and his sword was at his side. It was a good day for travel. Suddenly, he stopped. He listened. His ears detected sounds that were anomalous to the foresty noises that belonged there. The Ranger broke into a run, as silent as before. His bow came quickly off his back, and an arrow followed it. As he came upon the source of the noise, Cruallassar beheld the scene of a single gigantic, bearded warrior smashing a flail into a much smaller attacker, while four more bandits surrounded him. The warrior also had an abnormally large sword and...knife ears? A bearded elf? Whoever this man was, he was about to have help. Cruallassar drew an arrow to his cheek, took brief aim, and let fly. The arrow buried itself in its target. The bandits looked around, but the warrior was quick to capitalize on the distraction, dispatching two more in short order. The last bandit started to run. ~Oh no you don't...~ Cruallassar drew another arrow, aimed, and shot in the space of two seconds. The runner seemed to stumble, then collapsed. First app for an ally, and the app was rather interesting, if not dramatic :P.
I think the app was well done- one thing though. The flail isn't powerful enough to crush a head completely (if that's what you meant), it would leave a dent and some holes though... To the same effect I guess so I won't penalize you for that.-
I think your character should get along just fine with Caspian (I forgot that extremely long name, Caspian might make a nickname for you).

I think the app was well done- one thing though. The flail isn't powerful enough to crush a head completely (if that's what you meant), it would leave a dent and some holes though... To the same effect I guess so I won't penalize you for that.-
I think your character should get along just fine with Caspian (I forgot that extremely long name, Caspian might make a nickname for you).

I know a flail can't actually crush a person's head, but it works as a figure of speech. The person's head will certainly be a bit flatter, and have a number of holes in it. You can add this to your story now, if it isn't approved you can just add it to the next iteration of your character.

I hope we get in some fun rp times some time. I might be free this Saturday, but my family spontaneously goes on day long shopping trips and I might have a cross country meet. So see you when I see you if I do hopefully :P. The latest you might meet me though is 1-2 months unless sumthin happens.

I have been having some problems with internet accesses, so hopefully I will be able to take care of that and be able to roleplay sometime when you are available. At any rate, you take care of your things, and I will try to do the same.
