  • Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

The flaming remains of the township of Rötberg could be viewed for miles, the smog and fanned flames helping to slowly but surely draw in the militia of the nearest township to investigate. The sight these men came across was gruesome. The town of Rötberg had been completely exterminated, the rough population of about a two hundred had been completely slaughtered.

Women and children had been gored. Their faces and bodies drained of blood. The men had been propped up on stakes riddling around the township, forming a circle around it. Some, still living, as their life agonizingly faded. The guards who had entered the township would likely never recover from the sight. In the middle of the town square, sitting within a drawn up circle of blood, was a basket filled with roses, wine, and a letter. The basket was untouched, the roses beautiful, and the wine exquisite. The letter read.

In my court of blood I sit,
my crown of blood a perfect fit
My throne of bones made just for me;
oh won't you come and see?

I beckon you worthy to me,
to see if my castle will break thee.
My carriage awaits to bring you forth,
oh won't you join me at my court?

Pass my trials three,
then my power thou shalt see.
I shall see you then with delight in my heart,
in Rötberg, tho' trials start.

With love,
The Lord of Crimson,
Ernst von Rötberg.

Alongside this information was a map with a marked up location, and the date of 31st of March. News soon spread across the archipelago, soon reaching the very heart of Regalia. Whispers filled the streets, rumors of vast treasures, glory and honor. Would anyone truly be so brave as to willingly enter the lair of the beast?
