I have only found one thing wrong with being a vampire in massive, and that's boats. It would be really helpful to us vampires if there was to be some kind of shelter outside of the ships that you teleport to on arrival, as you never really know the rime of day on arrival, and i constantly exit the ship to find my self immediately having to throw myself over the docks into the water before I burn.

Also, although ive heard loosely of a Senate (and this links [sort of] into the torture ideas,) ive been thinking that it may add to Roleplay if there was some sort of court involved, as in criminals will be jailed and set a hearing on a day available for all the players attending, and the courts jury will decide the fate of the criminal, or is the vote is tied, the public decide.

~Just some ideas, any thought on these?~

I had this issue when I was a vampire as well, however, I learned to work around it.

It wouldn't make sense for places to WANT to make docks sheltered and more vampire-friendly. Also, most boat docks and piers tend to be open, and uncovered. It's more realistic to have them uncovered.

The best way to work around the time issue, is to just get a general sense of the time of different areas. When I was a vampire, after a couple trips I learned that when it's day in Regalia, it will be day in some other worlds and night in others. You just have to figure out what world will be day when Regalia is Day, and what world will be night when Regalia is day. I figured this out pretty quick as a vampire and learned to travel accordingly.

Regalia doesn't care about vampires, nor do they care about want the vampires want, or need.

First, those are he risks of being a vampire, why would the govt build covers that help beings they don't want in regalia anyhow?

Second the court thing probably wouldn't work for a few reasons
1. Not everyone is in the same time zone making it difficult to find a common time
2. Most criminals already cannot stay in a cell for more than 5 minutes without logging or tping out, why would they stay in a cage or podium or whatever while they're sentenced to jail or worse?
3. You'd have to use a jury of trusted players as many random players would just talk and disrupt
4. Only citizens are allowed trails, these would be humans(non vampire) dwarves elves and Orcs, just I case you didn't know
5. Criminals of appropriate races are already offered trails on certain things
6. Not to mention the modern legal system was not how they solved problems in medieval times

Thanks, and yeah, i understand about the court thing. Yet, although the ships are covered due to realism, for me, setting alight just after exiting a boat isn't very realistic either, could you please tell me the time differences between the different lands?

Agreed, Vampires would probably throw themselves in water anyways to escape the sun. Also I once stayed in a cell for about 5 Minecraft days. The Guards forgot about me. I take my roleplay seriously. :)

I'm unsure of this myself, I'd advise perhaps using /time in regalia then going to each world and doing the same and just writing down the differences yourself

just use dynmap..duh??? it shows time at the top

I think this should happen as well, because if you are a nonprem, and are a vampire or dakkar, you could lose extremely valuable stuff just because of this.

this can be dragged over to dakkar dying in rain when changing worlds, there is an easy solution. Change the spawn zone for those to underneath the sails -if possible-.

I stayed in a cell in Reavers house for 6 irl hours without noticing the time. :/

Im not sure when most became everyone, but it doesn't mean all, folks :D Sorry for the misconception

This is unrealistic. Regalia is not in good terms with vampires, so why would they give them cover? Regalia repulses the vampires, they arent even supposed to enter the City.

Or, vampires travel through Regalia by night, as they should do...
Makes most sence in the lore of vampires (since they die in the sun), and in the lore of the City of Regalia, since that empire hates vampires.

Why would Regalia make travel easier for vampires when it's vampires they're trying to wipe out?

One way to solve this is to synchronize time in every world, making it a day everywhere at the same time. That way it's lore friendly, it stops confusion, helps vampires play properly and generally makes everyone happier. If we're at it you could also synchronize raining, perhaps with a simple plugin, so it rains everywhere at the same time. Again this would help dakkar, since they can't even jump into water.

Also, just my personal opinion. explaining game mechanic problems, that make people angry and do not depend on the lore using lore and saying "Regalia would do that" is bad. Sure, what you are saying is true, that regalia wouldn't help vampires, but does that mean that this issue should remain, even if it makes players lives harder? If you think about it, warping should also be removed since it's not lore friendly, and yet it remains. Why? for our convenience, to help people have fun. I'm not saying that vampires should be acknowledged in the lore as normal human beings, god no, but should players that chose to rp as a vampire or a dakkar be punished for their choice? If there's a way to fix an issue and it's lore friendly it should be there.

Actually lore-wise it makes more sense if a spawn/warp point would be inside a ship or under it's sails. A vampire wouldn't just walk outside a ship while the sun is high up, no? Or dakkar for that matter, they'd just wait inside that ship untill it's nighttime / not raining and they can safely walk the earth again. Doesn't that make sense? rather than build a roof above a warp just move the warp inside the ship, and make the "warp back" somewhere else, for example inside those doors to lower deck.

^ I don't agree with setting the time and rain to be the same everywhere. In real life, the continents all have different times, and some will be raining and others won't. I find this is very lore compliant, and adds a sense of realism to the travel system. I'd hate to see this be changed.

In medieval times most of the time you got decapitated or had one of your limbs chop off Example if some were to steal the shop owner has the right to chop off that person hand.

Guys. Guys. He means when you get on a boat and teleport to a different world or type /spawn, you teleport to a spot outside of the ship which is not covered, and, during the day time, and depending if it is raining or the sun is shining, you get hurt as a Dakkar or a Vampire. I suggest just moving the warps to inside the ship, since it makes sense for humans too, and would only slightly inconvenience the rest of the server that isn't a Vampire or Dakkar becaue they have to walk like 20 blocks more.

What happened to the regalian sewers where the criminals and vampires was supposed to be? :3

Apparently it's too unfair to refine vampires in the sun, I personally feel the sun should have more affect on them, it should be instant neausau and then fire should kick in and burn them in under 60 seconds
