    Life Story

Born in a small hold in the Ellador Mountains to Therrim and Nisria, Amorak was always a curious and adventurous child, always merry and always the life of a party. Having lost his mother at just six months old, he was raised single-handedly by his father and so the two formed an extremely close bond. Therrim never spoke of his beloved wife for merely muttering her name would reduce him to tears. The two had been inseparable and their love had been known throughout hold for being pure and beautiful. As a result, Amorak never knew of his mother, except for her name.

Shortly after the death of Nisria, the father and son duo left their holden home, moving to a town on the outskirts of the abandoned dwarven hall of Ølovomm. It was here that Amorak grew up, made friends, had a life. His father was a talented blacksmith and fighter and raised his son on these crafts, as well as teaching him of Dwarven culture. One day, when Amorak was 23, his father was providing security for an Ailor woman who was bringing her goods to market in a neighbouring town, when they were attacked by a group of five Dakkar bandits. Knowing the Dakkar would likely rape and kill the woman, as well as robbing her, Therrin fought with all his might, managing to kill four and badly injure the fifth, but in doing so was fatally injured. As the fifth Dakkar fled and Therrin lay dying in the arms of the woman he had given his life to protect, he asked her to find his son, tell him he loved him and give him his Khazalitra Battleaxe, as Therrin’s father had before him.

When Amorak, who was working in the local smithery at the time, saw the woman approaching him with his father’s blood-soaked axe, he dropped to his knees and howled so loud it could be heard from the peaks of the Ellador mountain ranges. Then suddenly and without warning, Amorak stopped, wiped his eyes, rose to his feet, and with a blank expression on his face, took the axe from the woman, thanked her and left the village forever. He made his way to the door of Ølovomm, where he remained for 20 years in exile. During his time here, he studied the dwarven smithing texts within the hall, furthering his skills. Out of guilt, the woman who Therrin had died for, delivered a weekly basket of fresh bread, meats and a variety of other necessities to the door of Ølovomm.

In 306AC, Amorak received word from the woman, via a note she had left in the basket, of Anduinn Blackhammer’s march to reclaim Aldruin from the Isldar’s forces. Deciding he had mourned long enough, Amorak left the hall and travelled to join his dwarven brothers and sisters. He wanted to live his life as his father did: strong, loyal and fierce. He fought as such alongside his people, even saving Blackhammer’s life from a rogue elven arrow. After the battle, Amorak stayed in Aldruin with Blackhammer for some time, studying under him. Eventually, Blackhammer asked him to leave for Regalia to make ties and allies for the dwarven people.

This brings Amorak to the present year. He quickly found work in the Kreiguard, a mercenary company where he met his cousin, Torven Blackforge. He quickly became a well known and respected member of the company, fighting in the assault on the Lich’s library in the sewers, alongside his cousin, in his first week. He is known for frequently buying the entire company drinks after training and missions. Soon after he was signed onto the Holy Divine Inquisition which, as many know, burned bright and fast and died out quickly. [Side note: During his time serving under Blackhammer, in the Kreiguard and in The Inquisition, Amorak observed them closely; how they lead, how they acted. It was through doing this that he learned to lead and how to conduct himself with the Nobles of Regalia]. He soon found solace with his Dwarven brothers within the city and with them began a political campaign to gain the allegiance of the powerful families of Regalia, those that were Noble and some that were not, in an attempt to further the ambition of their kind to be not only accepted, but revered throughout the city and to gain their trust so that they may send troops to aid in the ongoing conflict between Dwarves and the Isldar conquerors in the mountains of Ellador. During this time, The Sons of Duindin was formed, a dwarven mercenary company aimed at building troops to not only fight in Ellador, but also in the wars of their allies. Given his knowledge of command and fighting expertise, Amorak was made second in command, given the rank of Captain.

Hello! Only Peer Review, not Staff!

I suggest putting the religion on a scale of 1-10 so we know how religious the character is, etc.

Please change this to a non-progression metal. This metal cannot be owned by your character.

Your physical stat calculation is off. Please correct this.

Make these edits in Purple and tag me when complete!

Changed Command tactic to general tactic but since he doesn't have 10k+ troops available to him he'd still only have the 1k he had before that are currently in use. Also retconned his part of life story, changing it to Dakkar that killed his family, not Kathar. Edits in purple.@Mollymock
