Option Two: The Core List
Amalia was born in Regalia in 284AC. Her parents, Erich Konstantinson and Rianne Konstantinson nee Muller, both working as tailors under the great Erkenbald Von Calemburg, a fashion designer. They lived fairly well off, as this job made enough money to feed and clothe the three of them comfortably.
Her early childhood was a lonely one. Being an only child with two working parents, she usually had to play on her own. She would stare out of the window for hours, or scour her father's military history books. When she found an interesting battle or some dashing character, she would act out the way that they heroically fended off the Skagger Horde or some other threat. Her parents had little time for these games, however, so when they came home, stressed from work, she would be forced off to her room to continue playing alone. Occasionally, she would be forced through tutoring in mathematics and literature but never picked it up well, always opting for activities that didn't involve sitting around all day.
As she got older, Amalia started staying out late, befriending 'unsavory characters' and sneaking places she wasn't supposed to. Her parents' neglect encouraged her to rebel from them even further than most teenagers, as she soon was involved in gang violence and theft at around age 15. Despite this, a little voice inside her always told her it was wrong. When she was 18, a friend of hers, a young boy named Gottbert was stabbed by a guard during the robbery of a shop in Oldtown. Distraught at this, she shut herself away for weeks. Eventually, she realized that she had to turn her life around and shipped herself off to the School of Griffer in Osteiermark. She trained hard for 5 years, learning the art of the rapier and also learning to dance in her spare time with some of the other students, as it is believed to help with thin blade fighting.
Amalia has just returned from the academy and intends to join up with a guard chapter as soon as possible. She intends to help bring down crime so nobody else can be sucked in like her and Gottbert were at such a young age. She has since made contact with her parents, however is living alone, independently.
