Backstory/Plot hooks

• Alfarin was born through being a savage; as a child, he was fairly neglected by his father. He spent most of the time being trained by the other warriors in his village.
• A devoted citizen of Regalia, he would publicly denounce all traitors to Regalia.
• Recruited at thirteen, he would devote himself to eight years of training, recently graduating to become a ranking knight at twenty-one.
• Alfarin would spend most of those years in silence, taking a vow of silence from fifteen to twenty years old, which he recently ditched for a more silent but vocal approach.
• In his private life, he would study the teachings of his religion, Fornoss, becoming more intertwined with his family background and practicing his faith on a regular basis.
• He would often go ice fishing when he could as a squire, taking after his mentor and honouring his memory.
• His mentor, he had to become a knight, got captured by vampires, and got killed in front of his eyes, cementing his hatred of them and any who use magic.
• However, not moving to the Lothar order, viewing their methods to deal with their hatred as immoral, unfaithful, and most of all, his belief that the emperor is not law.
