His step father was a Asha named Torvald Silver-Tongue. Alek spent his teenage years in schooling for Navywork and petty thievery aside from it. Alek always loved the sea, and loved the freedom it could bring. Once graduated, Alek would leave Daendroque with University Friends to have a Pirate Ship of his own named the Blackwake. It ended in mutiny and led Alek astray on an island. Alek would then meet Selëya in deparation, in which she gave Alek the offering to become an Ezekiel. Alek took the chance to prolong his life and to gain knowledge he could never originally achieve. Alek would build himself a raft. Floating to Regalia in search of a new journey and a hope for vengeance. Spoiler: Life Story Beginning Tides Alek was born and raised into a family where he never knew his biological father. Raised instead with a Ailor woman, and an Asha man whom he considered to be his true father figure. Alek lived a peaceful life for this time, and attended many schools within the Archipelago thanks to his mother being a much more wealthy commoner in Daendroque, going to Admiral School in Dragenthal, and also in return of his studies in the waters, that he’d learn about the history of Aloria, and to dwell into the Archaeology world for his mother in Al-Sharorah Hamanh College. Alek was always known to be a boy who wanted to sail outwards, and to see the waters beyond just the shores in Daen. But, he couldn’t help but to enjoy learning within the schools. He read many books of fiction and nonfiction when within the libraries of his schools. Mostly of the life of Piracy, and the freedom they had when they sailed amongst their journeys. To discover, without any chains weighing one down, and to see the world beyond. Alek adored this fantasy, and made it his own to have a crew of his own to sail all of Aloria. The Vast Expanse Alek, once graduating from his respective schools, would wish his farewells to his mother and father. As his dream of freedom had become his grasp. With the friends he had met amongst his days of schooling, Alek had created himself a crew. He, and his friends banded money together by doing odd jobs from their respective homes to get their hands on their first ship. In which, they called The Blackwake. A small, but agile ship built for their goal. Alek gave his final goodbyes before living life amongst the sea. Finally, the life of a pirate had begun. The Dark Waters Alek, appointed Captain of The Blackwake, had fires of ambition amongst his eyes as they sailed amongst Aloria. Plundering ships along the way, and searching for the many treasures that hold for them amongst the vast expanse. However, it would be then that Alek would face the dark waters of piracy; greed. As his crewmates would begin to question Alek’s ways of manning the ship, and managing the coin that was spread amongst them. Day by day, plunder by plunder, his crewmates began to question more and more. In the end, Alek was met with a mutiny amongst their ship, and casted aside amongst a small isle with an abandoned boat, and his sword. Present Tides Alek was left ashore for dead, and his days began to run limited with the so little supplies he had. He begged for anything that may have been there for a chance. Some way to survive, and soon enough, his wish would be granted. As the Unspoken Goddess herself would strike a deal with Alek, to become a Ezekiel, and in return, survive the limited days he had left. Alek took it in desperation, and his body would shift to the skeletal form he now resembles. Alek, with his newly acquired form and powers, would eventually leave the Island with the small boat he had acquired, reaching the port city of Regalia with a few thoughts in his mind. @RainAxe Approved but with the following stipulations; -The character is allowed their knowledge in sword combat, but knowledge does not make up for what the body lacks. Due to being both Ezekiel, having only 5 bodystat and a plethora of other abilities, they should not be considered a physical combatant by any means. Sword proficiency should translate more into knowledge this case and the ability to teach others, not use it themselves. Tl;dr The sword is for the aesthetics only. The character cannot really use it competitively.
@Caelamus Quick question regarding swords, I was wondering if they could be used reliably in stuff like fencing tournaments and the like, as I know that there's a large difference in Combat RP between a simple fencing practice, and an all-out battle.
Remove their sword combat all together and just make their casting focus a ghostly scimitar, cutlass or rapier that can only be used to shoot magic. Character fits having Sorcery 2 over Warrior 2.
