Shortly after, the crying of a newborn could be heard. That newborn would be given the name Alannah Renae Riordan. Joyful that her daughter had lived after all, Aoibhin Riordan held her precious baby to her chest, never letting her go-- even as the wet nurse bustled forth to wash her off. A few days later, after Aoibhin recovered, she stole away in the dead of night, bound for her beloved Ériu-Innis, not telling the father of her child the news. Alannah would grow up without a father and as such, Aoibhin simply did what she could to make her young daughter’s childhood a decently pleasant one. Adolescence. ― { 12 - 18 } When Alannah turned twelve, she grew curious as to why her father wasn’t in the picture. Going to her mother, she demanded to know the truth and after much convincing, Aoibhin told her the story of how she came to be. She discovered that her father’s name was Lazarus and that he was a Bloodcast Knight, with a love for tea. To Aoibhin’s surprise, Alannah was not sad. In fact, the young girl was determined to become a Knight, just like her dad. So, when her fourteenth birthday rolled around, off to Regalia she went, immediately beginning her training at the Castle Duurwallis, not letting anyone know her true identity. Knight times.. ― { 19 - 23 } During her time at the Castle, Alannah was met with trouble all along the way. She simply wasn’t built to be a fighter, but she still kept that determination, showing her instructors that she could handle the rigorous training. Unfortunately, this training would come to a halt shortly after her nineteenth birthday. After a long fight against two brazen drunkards, Alannah lost and was ‘rewarded’ with several gashes on her back. Passing out from the loss of blood, the men no longer found her entertaining, and walked off, laughing. She didn’t recall being taken back to the Castle. She did not want to give up the Bloodcast training, given how close she was to graduating and carried on, more determined than ever. Present times. ― { 24 } After she graduated, Alannah immediately returned to Ériu-Innis. While she was there, her mother had given her a present for graduating, the gift being two snowdog pups to train and raise as her own. She stayed on Ériu-Innis for a year,living off the land like a true Ériunin. But, she had grown tired of this and decided to return to Regalia once more. In the span of four months, Alannah has reunited with her father and plans to keep him as a constant figure in her life. The sweet hereafter ― { Now } But now, she has found the love of a man named Ignis. She has been infected with the Shilôt bloodline and has changed her appearance to avoid detection by those she once knew.

@Caelamus Since I haven't used Alannah's abilities as an Alais, I have changed her bloodline. I've also added an alias and added more to her life story. I made these changes in a lovely dark teal.
