Abad grew up in the City of Mooriye with his parents, who ran a small shop that worked with wood and clockwork. Abad could never keep his hands still, constantly fidgeting. He was taught at a young age how to work with wood, as his parents hoped he could take over the shop when he became an adult. Abad often admired his parents' creations, hoping that one day he would learn how to make things similar to them instead of just working with wood. Abad had no siblings and few friends. He often helped out at the shop, taking custom orders and bringing his parents materials they needed. When Abad asked if he could be taught how to make clockwork, he was first sent to a forge owned by Asmir's friend, Zarak. Zarak had started to teach Abad metallurgy, allowing Abad to work at the forge in his free time for practice once he had learned the basics. Abad cointinued to help his parents at their shop. He often helped Zarak at the forge, working with metals and crafting weapons, armor, jewelry, and all sorts of other things, while learning about the different metals and materials, being paid in the process. After a few years, Abad was finally taught by his parents how to work with clockwork. Once he learned the basics, he started helping his parents with their creations, starting with simple things and expanding outwards to more complex inventions. He would usually try making his own inventions when he wasn't working at the forge with Zarak or helping at the family shop. He would continue to practice, trying to surpass the skills that his parents had. Abad then met a man on the street. He helped the man deliver something after the man got lost. He turned out to be a highly skilled clockwork engineer. The man would then help Abad further his skills with clockwork, teaching him more about it once a week while giving him tips and showing him a few helpful techniques to help him work more efficiently. Abad would continue to train under him for a year. At some point, Abad tried forging signatures and making copies of statues. He'd use this to help himself practice wood-carving, and occasionally to mess with Zarak. He never dropped this and continues to use this skill even to this day. Around the same time, he started learning how to work with steamtech. He had heard that it may be useful, and decided to try it for himself, being interested in learning of another way to make machinery. Upon learning of his interests, his parents sent Abad's aunt, Ashek, his way. She had already learned quite a lot about the subject, and was eager to assist him in learning about it. When he became an adult, he took over the shop, though his parents still helped him at the start. He continued to work with wood and clockwork, taking custom orders and selling some of his creations. He would sometimes visit the forge Zarak worked at, helping him when he needed to. At some point, a man named Ameer, who would frequently visit Abad's shop, offered to teach him architecture on a whim, claiming that it would help Abad find more work in the future. Abad agreed, visiting the man every day after closing his shop late at night in order to learn whatever he could about the subject. His architecture could never really live up to his skills with clockwork, but it was useful enough for him. He knew that he'd eventually be able to find someone who might pay well for someone with this skill. Abad eventually closed his shop for good and went to Regalia, hoping he could find inspiration for new creations and people who were willing to buy them off of him.
@Katiesc Abad got infected by a werebeast, I added the mutations in Red. If possible, a re-review would be nice.
Replaced fortifications with sword combat since fortifications no longer exists, removed werebeast mutations since he was cured, changed body fat since why not, and now I need a re-review.
@canpotatoesfly I'll be picking up this review. Approved but seeing as he has a weapon skill now, you might want to add his preferred weapon.
@Azas Hello again. Metallurgy got a rework, and so I ended up making some changes to Abad's proficiencies in green. Hopefully I didn't miscalculate the points.
@Azas Bump, some proficiency edits with the clockwork rework too. Everything changed is highlighted in orange.
@HydraLana Abad got infected by a Cratos so I need another re-review, I made changes to the sheet in orange. Just the addition of Cratos abilities and some changes to their proficiencies. Thanks.
Please tag me once the Proficiency Investment amount has been corrected to whatever amount it properly is. Please also add a point to the end of the Life Story explaining how/why they became a Cratos.
