An Old Town edict would be spread throughout the streets of Old Town, finding its way to the notice boards nearby those who resided in the suburbs and the rundown slums of the rotten side of Regalia.

"Hear ye', the goers of the Slums!

The Blind Basilisk Tavern of Old Town has been reformed under new ownership. In the heart of Old Town is a rekindled Tavern serving all kinds of refreshments to the weary men and women of our streets who need a drink before they end the night, and those who look for a sprinkle of joviality to their drained days. It is our heartfelt intention to restore the Blind Basilisk Tavern to it's times of glory, by providing it with an active and dedicated management.

However, it is with this change that we must come public about topics regarding the climate of Old Town and the political forces regulating the nearing streets. As we are well aware about the violent battles that have been taking place in the streets of Old Town amongst gangs and organizations challenging eachother for dominance, we must take some precautionary steps in order to ensure that, despite the chaos that surrounds us, our beloved Basilisk will go unharmed and remain a warm, refreshing establishment for all to enjoy.

It is with this thought that we hereby declare the Blind Basilisk Tavern a completely neutral zone; when stepping into the Basilisk, any and every kind of Old Town citizen, may they be the leader of the most vigorous gang or the lowest ranking member of it, completely agree to putting aside their criminal intent, their desire for bloodshed, their plan to commit brutality, and any kind of violent activity that would put the Basilisk's reputation and safety at grave risk. If gangs want to tear eachother apart- it is expected and requested that they do so outside of our establishment, or in the fighting pit that is within the lower sections of our Tavern.

It is also with this declaration that the Basilisk Tavern will no longer serve as a headquarter or a base or any kind of place of action for any gang or organization with criminal intent, nor will it fall into control of any gang. The Blind Basilisk does not, will not, and never will associate itself with gangs. In the same time however, the doors of Basilisk will always be open to every gang who wants to enjoy a drink in peace.

It is expected from the public of Old Town that they will respect our rule of neutrality, so that they may enjoy a safe haven that caters to the people of the slums, where everyone may freely enjoy their time without having to worry about a knife pressed to their necks from behind.

With that being said, it will take a few days for the business to go up and about again, but an opening day event is due, soon to be announced. Every man and woman in the streets of Old Town will be welcome to join us as we open a new page for this humble establishment.

With the kindest regards,
Judas Riviere
A humble tavern-owner"

OOC:
- The Blind Basilisk Tavern is now owned by Judas Riviere. Recruitment thread and public Discord coming up soon. An opening event will be arranged within the following days that will mark the business returning into management and activity.

- With the change of leadership, the Blind Basilisk Tavern will serve as a completely neutral zone, but welcomes all gangs to spend their time and have drinks.

- Big shout-out and most humble thanks to Vegemiite (Brodie) who was the previous owner of the Basilisk and has agreed to pass it down to me.
