A Public Statement Regarding Ruttgher

My name is Miss Nerina Vecellio; a member of a small progressive caucus. The following is a statement regarding Countess Nayelen and the Neo-Hiltfrontist Lobby, specifically their campaigning in Ruttgher. In short:

- It has been revealed by an insider (who's name will be kept secret for reasons soon apparent), that Countess Nayelen arranged a deal in which she supported the Priestess's appointment to Ruttgher in order to secure support for Roca's preferred candidate in Arlora. She was aware the Kathar would be mistreated, but probably underestimated how badly. She was still willing to harm them to support an autocrat.
- Activists like Jasmine Naik and Amalia Konstantinson are members of the Lobby, and are sent to the Commoner Votes in order to push agendas influenced by House Norinn and Countess Nayelen. They are probably acting in good faith and believe that supporting supporting the Lobby's agenda is for the best, but are being used by a bad faith actor that does not actually care about the Kathar and sacrificed them when convenient.
- Criticism within the Lobby is being met with harsh retaliation. Lord Alfarin Norinn spoke out against their stance in Torse, and in turn was expelled from the lobby, censured, and threatened with expulsion from House Norinn which would also mean losing his marriage. This is an extremely disproportionate response for speaking out exactly once.

The end result is the Lobby is now co-opted by a pro-Autocrat activist who wears the skin of progressivism to gain support, while the Lobby retaliates against those who dissent by the harshest means available. The genuinely well meaning members of the lobby, while not deliberately harmful, are used to push their agenda and protect the Countess's reputation even as she betrays the principles she claims to hold. As stated before, my caucus will be doing everything in our power to oppose them and further harm to the Kathar, and will be accepting members of the Lobby who wish to defect to do the same.

Miss Nerina Vecellio,

1. It has been ill-informed about the threats to the marriage between Lady Constance Norinn and Lord Alfarin Norinn-Silverberry; no threats to our marriage were made due to the dispute between Lord Alfarin Norinn and the Neo-Hiltfrontist. All has been resolved within those disputes. We remain happily newlywed and continue celebrating such things with our family and friends.

2. I want to come up and say that straight up, the points made are stretched out and vague and should not be taken as factual in and out of itself to a point where it's not my word.

3. Lord Alfarin Norinn and House Norinn, expresses deep support for the Kathar population for their fight against unfair treatment; it is stated that the Kathar population was never a reason why Lord Norinn and the Norinn household had voted for the priestess. They expressed religious support to one of their members, and a Unionist and Fornoss population was achieved.

Any questions or concerns should now be brought forward to Lord Alfarin Norinn about where the House stands on the issue of the Kathar and the Fornoss priestess to prevent further confusion.
