A Public Condemnation Of The Horrid Acts By Vicious Heretics

In light of the capture of Icarus Albatross and the bloodied arm posted with it's note, a pamphlet would find its way into the streets. It would not do so in the normal ways, but instead would be crammed under doors, stuffed into nooks and crannies, deposited on and under park benches or slipped between the pages of library books.

PUBLIC

COMDEMNATION

OF THE

HORRID ACTS

BY

VICIOUS HERETICS

Friends, Regalians, Countrymen! This is black day for our beloved Regalia, a day that could make the coldest of hearts weep. I was out upon my daily walk when I stopped to admire the architecture of our beautiful cathedral. It was there, THERE my friends that I saw the most heartstopping of images. Another post had been made by my colleague, the extreme radical Icarus Albatross, and there beside it a note of capture. But was this the image that so chilled my bones? Nay, nay, it was the sight of a bloodied arm nailed beside the note, that can only have belonged to one of my revolutionary brethren.

Many of my detractors say that I am an Anarchist. Many claim that I am a heretic, not even knowing the true meaning of the word. It may then surprise my readers to know that in fact I, J. T. Appleton, am in fact a Liberal Unionist. I love this empire, and it's emperor, even if I do not agree with the two from time to time. It is this love of my brother Regalians that drives me to speak out against the wrongs of our society for the betterment of the great way. Now, as a brother Unionist I must must completely and utterly condemn the HERETICS who committed this heinous crime, whether they be of the VIRIDIAN ORDER, or simply misguided vigilantes.

Icarus is misguided yes, but he at least has the conviction to speak out peaceably against the system rather than sneaking up behind it with a knife like the deplorable COWARDS who carried out this assassination. The Seventh Creed declares "it is the duty of the virtuous to convert and protect the lesser beings that need our guidance, not to utterly destroy them in fire." And Yet these so called PIOUS men would declare a war of EXTERMINATION against all who have fallen from the true path?

Can we share in the glory of these men when the Twelfth Creed clearly states that "A person can never be at peace with a theology forced at the end of a sword" and these low and debased men would have it as so! You cannot make a man believe in an idealology, and forcing them to pretend so only creates more of the rebels we so deplore, who are forced to sneak about like common criminals. Can we truely call ourselves practitioners of the Great Way if we cannot even abide by the Creeds that so give Unionism form and life?

I say this not to distress you friends, but to warn you. These men are no heroes, and they would defile our religion by using it to further their own POLITICAL ends. This, this my friends is why I revolt against the status quo. Not to destroy the system, not to exterminate Unionism and separate it from government, but to separate politics from our most HOLY Religion. This is my pure goal, and one from which I shall back down. I only pray now that more will come to understand my frustration and take up quills with me to end this disgusting display of VICE and HERESY from the men who committed this crime in the name of our HOLY EMPEROR.

OOC NOTES

This is not a poster like the last several posts, hence you can react in character but not post replies written Icly, DIRECTLY to the pamphlet, but feel free to write an independent post about it.

"Well brother, you have much work ahead of you. I'll be sure to dedicate more funding to parchment and ink; I'm sure it will be of use to you."

In an age without the printing press, Innocenzo was very impressed by the poets by the sheer industrious ability to crank out thousands of posters and letters every week.

The massive figure of Iris Gold sat on a bench in the park, reading over the pages.

"Then so be it. I will release the essay tomorrow. Suppose I'll be writing all damn night."

But you see, Icarus and these other poets were likely no lived poor folk- what else is there to do with time?

"For a city with millions of people, tens of thousands of doors, and hundreds of libraries, I'm surprised this happened so quick and mysteriously. Ah well." Comments a random peasant before whistling and wandering back on to the fields.

Edmure tilted his head as he slowly nodded his head in partial agreement of the notice. He however could not help but wonder the bystanders comments of "How could they write this many?!?!?" and pointing out their-.. What exactly? Ability to write this many letters?
He softly murmured.

"With enough devotion and passion poured into a work of literature dediated to the service of the great way, the highest number of written phamplets is only a restriction we set for ourselves.
In the light and guidance of the spirit and the passion and faith of man, a million letters is but a trivial thing. Those who reject such a sentiment are not true in their faith. Not true enough anyway. The power of a man of the spirit is only limited by himself and the holy spirit."

With that, the man continued on his way, enlightened by the well written and charismatic poster.

"This one writes of the cowardice of the guardsmen who delivered a fair punishment."

Audrey spoke in her penthouse after the essay found its way to the Ithanian district, up the Priscelle chapel's bridge, up the stairs in front of her windows, up the rooftop garden in front of her doors.

"All the while hiding behind a pen name just like his predecessor did."

Both the woman's Long Fluff cat and Sucre Cien seemed intrigued.

"Especially intriguing when one breaks state laws three, ten, eleven and imperial law five by delivering these pamphlets."

The woman then penned a letter to the Nordmark with the approximate time of the pamphlet's arrival. Surely a watchman saw those enterig the Ithanian district, for they have to pass by the entrance of the guard bastion.

A dirty pamphlet had been shoved into Abigail Tucker's hands at some point. As the young woman's eyes glide over the neatly written words, her brows drew together. It wasn't long before the pamphlet was crumbled up and tossed to the ground, and a frustrated grumble eminated from Abigail as she continued about her day.

Her reading lessons were not going well. At all.
