A notice was hung on the notice board of the Golden Willow, branded with the company emblem of ArdelanCo©.

To the public of Regalia,

I am Marvolo Ardelan, the patriarch of House Ardelan, the Chief Executive Officer of the Ardelan Brothers Business Company, and the Head Overseer of the upcoming Tyrian Gazette. I am a man who has been working bone and teeth to bring respectability and reputation of good thought to my family name for the past month. Aiding the Regalian Economy, helping businesses foster, donating to the State and the Imperial Family, and doing my services as a proud Unionist man.

As some of you may know, I alongside House Peirgarten was recently accused of numerous crimes by a woman who goes by the name of Wyetta Lowenbrau, and both families were taken to court. The trial is to be held on the seventh of July.

Originally, I held no intentions of speaking up against the lies of a nobody. I found it unnecessary to concern myself with the deliberate slandering of a woman who took to hating me when she couldn't get what she wanted out of me. However, when this woman begins to dishonorably and shamefully, most importantly disgustingly, claim that I have sexually forced myself on her, some words have to be spoken.

To get the hang of the situation, one requires context. Wyetta Lowenbrau was originally a hired company worker, who came to me out of interest of us supposedly being gangsters. When I figured she was useful for the company, I hired her and I trusted her enough to bring her with me during numerous business meetings. All was fine and well until she began to work not for the coin, but for my intimate attention, which I, of course, did not provide. She began underdressing and constantly attempted to seduce me, attempts which were witnessed not only by me but any who were around us. Her attempts bore no fruit.

After a week of her employment, word came from another worker, Christa Nhaendar, that Wyetta had beaten her to a pulp and held a knife to her neck, threatening to take her life if she didn't stay away from me. This incident was reported to the guards and I removed Wyetta from the company for it after also being told precisely by herself that she was suspiciously playing around with my company papers and visiting the slums with them. Not wishing to hold a misfit in a legal and respectable business, I stripped her from her role in the company.

Only days after her removal from the Company, she takes me to court with a bunch of lies she made up, out of a hatred born from immature levels of jealousy and shameful lust. She deliberately accused me of insulting and offending Hengest Harhold, knowing that it would harm me given my rough history with said family. She accused people she never met of attempting against her life, an attempt that nobody recognizes or remembers. She claimed I and lady Peirgarten were slandering her by calling her a harlot, a profession she has taken to a level of legitimacy with her supposed agency built around seducing men with lifted skirts and heavy makeup to gather information. A woman who publicly spoke of having sugar daddies and nobles paying her rent in return of favors, of course she would be called a harlot.

Out of respect, I held my tongue about her accusations and agreed to go to court and defend my case. However, the last straw happened to be when I learned that Wyetta began going around and telling people that I have raped her.

I would sooner cut off my hands and cock before I ever laid a single hand upon her. Bluntly, a clown jester has less paint on their body. The woman would become a whole new person if one were to pour a bucket of water over her. I have never laid a finger upon her, I have never sexually abused her, I have never forced myself on her, and that is fact. Even the thought of being in close proximity with her makes me want to vomit at the prospect of catching her dyes and paints on me. Take it easy, Wyetta. It's a face, not a coloring book.

I hereby humbly request that the peerage of Regalia and the common citizens do not allow theirselves to be deceived by a crying dollface. Everything written above are the absolute honesty and truth, and Wyetta deliberately does everything in her ability to try and put me down a few notches. Please do not listen to her accusations against my name, and do not be tricked by her overexaggerated gestures of false emotion and deceit.

I am calling out to Wyetta Lowenbrau right here and right now, that I will remember everything and forgive nothing.

I wish you luck at the trial.

Marie Peirgarten took a good few moments to practically inhale what was written. The Anglian's brows knitted together as Wyetta's actions were proclaimed.
She muttered a quiet
"Always one remains one."
and stepped off afterwards.

Benjamin chuckled a tad, looking to a few of his fellow Hammers. "Is he scared ta stand trial so he goes ta the public? Why dont ye' just do the court shite back ta her or fight her with blades!"

Benjamin re-read it a bit later "Oh. He called her a harlot. That's a crime 'less he has proof."

Anna blinked as she paused to read such a notice. With a scrunch of her nose she made note to come back and visit this paper with someone she knew. Though for now she merely walked off after she commented.

"Such a shame they wish to harm their family further. And to sign this "Not a f*cking rapist... How curious."

The Judiciary responded with a singular notice

We'll be the judge of that, House Ardelan. In the meantime, submit your evidence to the Judiciary as requested as we're still waiting for proof of your innocence. Spend less time enticing negativity against your opponent outside of the courtroom and more time building your defence.
Judicial Minister Rodderick Howlester

The Shield Guard would see this report saying "I don't believe in any of these accusations. Why would he rape another Woman?"

"Shameful lust... See you in the court Mister Ardelan. Tell your friends to stop pestering me before the trial begins."
The young woman gently pasted this below the notice.

The woman scoffed, trailing her gloved finger along the words.

"He's trying to cover his tracks now, look. If anything he's making this situation worse for himself by drawing attention to it before the trial. Oh! Look, there." She cleared her throat, quoting what Marvolo had written.

"I remember everything and forgive nothing."

"That sounds like a threat to me. What say you, brothers?"
@Patsie @Battlebrawn

Aelfric emitted a scoff as he read the notice, "Guilty until proven innocent, Ardelan. Guilty until proven innocent."

Beau z Morze Czarne,

The Varran giggled as he read the notice prior to clanking into the Golden Willow, he grinned actually, maybe a laugh or two. "Hah! Hanney-boy called t'is one a while back. Guess his li'l tests were right after all. Knew she was a deranged prossy-toot frum whenever I tal'd t'her. Heh, I can say tha' righ'? No one 'eard me.. No one tha' doesn' already know 'nyways." He spits against the floor as he receives a bit of rum, "Spirits guide ye Marv, she's 'un demon who'll suck no' only yer cock for fun, bu' ev'ry bitta life outta ya while sh'does't." "Void, she'll tak'm't cour' now.. D'ese walls 'ave eyes... 'Er ears, som shi' lik' tha'. @WrongChat

Siselle gave a light frown and tapped her chin with a finger, "That's not good," was the only gentle comment she made before the stocky Velheimer moved onwards- pondering the dramatics of Regalia.

The room was dark save for the bit of sunlight that peaked through the not so closed curtains. She sat abed, blankets pooling around her waist as she listened silently to her friend about the notices upon the board. Her singular eye shifted slowly away from the other occupant of the room, her lips drawing back into a sneer. "He's trying to cover his ass before they go to court. This is becoming a circus."

Slitted eyes peered over the parchment with an expression of perpetual bemusement, already having lost interest before even having read out the final conclusionary signatures. Slender fingers pried away the sheet of paper from the desktop, placing the copy away face-down on a vacant section of the workspace, before attention was turned back toward the stack of invoices which laid nearby.

"These claims against their family wouldn't be the first... If some victims were more courageous."

The gentle voice called out toward the large silhouette sitting offward.

An audible "Huh." Came from Desrik as he glanced over the papers, fingers clawing through his ever-itchy beard. With a few moments of considering thought, he pulled a small scroll of parchment from a holder across the bandolier he wore, and a worn charcoal stick from a small protective pouch.

He wrote the names he saw.

The olive-green figure chuckled from her companion's comment, bringing up the notice to read for herself- it took her a minute or two before she reached the end, another hearty chuckle ringing from her throat. After placing it down, she rested a hand onto their shoulder, looking both mildly amused and curious.

"Murder, theft, molestation, use of sanguine blood- it wouldn't be far from the norm' if these claims were true, hrm? The new follows the old, as you say, aye?"
@Jiangshi

The large Leutz-Vixe man gazed upon the written text. Exhaling a minute sigh, resting a hand on his forehead, shaking it.
" Never a moment's rest for this family, is there? "

Maxence then retired to his solitary home located by the docks, a look of disappointment on his features.

Deo watched on the Notice board the fairly varied riff raff that sprung from these dealings, his ice-cream melted softly. Now he was annoyed.

Saen peered at the notice as he took his dog, Jawhar, for his daily walk. "He always takes this to the public like he needs justification that his actions are glorious or some shit."

The tall strongman of Jarrow, Abelhard Rote, peered at the strange writings, some of the notes found there confused, disturbed and annoyed him.

"I have yet to meet an Ardelan, though from the rumblings I hear spurned by this notice I do not like it. The sheer fact a man such as this does not wait until after his court hearing is disgraceful! How dishonourable!"

Tromping off, Abe goes home, with the hopes of writing to the 'Ardelan' so that he may express these sentiments himself. Abe will not tolerate posturing before trial has been held.

Zzalangua's taloned feet would haunt suddenly, the clicking sound procuring would come to an idle cease. His short, slitted attention span would force the raptor like gaze to look over the posting.
"Hmmz... Zuppoze the Brazz Zcale foreignz zhop will not be joining sa'Ardelan'z Co until thiz iz zettled. I'd rather have my zhop stay out of warmblood legal matters..." @Yigit
