"It's not fair."
The tavern was bright and loud. Men and women alike of all races laughing and cheering as they socialized over a mug of ale whilst most waited out the light storm that was passing by. A table rested at the center of the building, every chair occupied. Seated at the head of a table was a woman with the beauty that left men gaping and women green with envy. Her hair was a bright blonde with the touch of silk, her skin so fair and untouched by any unwanted markings, her eyes a beautiful peppermint green and her body possessing a curve in no wrong location.
"Well fella's, it's been fun! But I must take my leave for I have children to care of." The woman addressed the table, each word as sugar to the ears.
The men groaned, some beckoning for her to stay a little longer, alas the woman stood her self up, throwing a coat over her elegant body and At that, the woman stood herself up, departing from the building and into the heavy rain.
The woman navigated the streets with ease, though her vision obscured by both the rain and the darkness, she had taken the route more times than she could count. Awaiting the woman at her doorstep was a prone figure. Flowing at her feet was a horrid mix of water... And some sort of red liquid. Only taking a moment to realize the woman would run forward to gain sight of the figure... Lying before her would be the mangled corpse of her husband... Claw marks all through his torso, his severed arm laying at his side. The woman released a sharp gasp, tears welling in her eyes.
"Ja--" The woman started to speak but her throat grew dry, cutting her words off... The sensation of being watched lingered in her chest. The sound of what seemed to be a large rat, scampering its claws along the stone would echo from behind her, causing her to suddenly jerk her body around catching a glimpse of a shadow as it ducked under some sort of cover... A bundle of logs maybe?... It was no matter... She wasn't sticking around to find out. The woman darted down the alleyway to her right, not bothering to throw a glance to see if the figure had given chase.
The woman's shoes would squelch in mud, the substance destroying the delicate objects as she frantically darted through the alleyway, taking turns at every given opportunity... Alas her time ran up. The woman landed on crooked grounding, rolling her right ankle and collapsing to the floor, staining her beautiful outfit in the mud, her luscious hair laced with filth.
The woman turned to her back, whimpering in the process, her eyes darting down the long, empty street, alas she caught nothing but heavy rain and darkness... She rolled back to her stomach, placing her hands under her to try to heave her self up But came to an abrupt stop as her eyes caught a figure hunched before her, unbothered by the rain. The creature stared down at her with its dark, ruby eyes. An unmoving expression of unfeeling staining its features, completely content with its hunched position, supporting its body by having its hands pressed against the muddy grounds.
Upon inspecting the creature longer left the woman's jaw hung in absolute horror. Random places of the creature's exposed skin were punctured, replaced with gaping mouths and ghastly, unmoving human eyes. Talons outgrew from both the creature's toes and hands, explaining the scampering noise.
The beasts cheeks begun to shift, revealing yet another pair of eyes just below the beasts functioning eyes, its mouth tearing open but unlike any human, it tore in four separate sections revealing both its normal set of damaged teeth and the number of out of place teeth that surrounded the entrance of the beast's throat.
With a single movement forward... It went black...

The rain had passed and it was reported that two corpses had been found, one belonging to a certain Jack Vengaur whilst the other remains to be unknown, but suspected to be the man's wife Adalicia Vengaur.
Each of the bodies had been mutilated, claw marks destroying the torso of the gentleman as well as a severed right arm and all the fingers removed from the left hand, the Tatsugo words "Greedy" carved into the palm.
The other corpse was found with the blood drained from it, leaving the corpse to shrivel, in addition to this was the mutilation of the face. The woman's face had been mauled and torn almost completely off, the Tatsugo word for "Ugly" Carved on the jugular of the woman.
