A New Light.

"Have you given up then, is that it? You have abandoned
me in my time of need, broken my faith all to spite me?
I renounce my faith to you, Spirit of Union."

Many would notice a change in Tobie Peirgarten in the days to come, his face was slimmer and his eyes weary after his long and troublesome experience with hallucinations and otherwise unworldly affairs. His eyes had grown a darker shade of green than before, much grayer and without their usual twinkle. The way he acted was almost as if he'd become a more troublesome individual and had been openly challenging people to duels within the Fang and Throng fighting pit in the Regalian Park. He seemed to stop in order to talk to the Arken Generals that traipsed through the city and he'd spend most of his time alone with his head buried in a journal that carried statements about the dragon that plagued Regalia.

He had looked upon the people of Regalia as those who had given up on him, giving little care to those of the Unionist Faith, for he feared the Spirit had left him and had allowed him to slip into one of his troublesome states once again. His hallucinations had become a burden until the moment he started following the dragon.
Soon after his descent into Dragon Worship, he exited his cell in the ruin of the Arcane Office, bringing about an air of mischief with him, though trying not to show people this new, darker side.

His hope was gone, hope that laid within his friends and those who worship the Spirit. All morals were tossed out of the window as he found himself quickly raising within the community of Dragon Worshipers in Regalia. He found himself unafraid of the consequences, though hiding his new faith from his loved ones. He even went so far as to carve a dragon-shaped cut into his right shoulder, to show his faith to Rikkira.

He soon found himself with a new hilt to his blade, a set of dragon-wings as the cross-guard that defended his hand. His jewelry was changed as well, a necklace with a dragon's head that retained rubies in the eyes now appeared upon him, as well as a dragon's skull ring that also wore rubies within it's eyes. The man known to all as a Unionist was gone, replaced by the now undoubted Dragon Worshiper.

It was soon found that Tobie was hosting meetings among other Dragon Worshipers, trying to find ways to stop them from harming the Arken Generals and even creating his own small group that would defend them is needs be. His blade was reforged in a blacksteel fashion and the longsword renamed 'The Dragon's Fury'.
These were dark times indeed, for now the Dragon and Arken Generals were to be defended by none other than a member of the Peerage.
