A Massivecraft Let's Play Series

Yesterday I was thinking of starting something like this, so I wanna know if anyone out there would be interested and supportive towards this idea, if anyone wants to join and do this with me, I would surely accept ya'

I think it would be a good idea to have a pvp version, an rp version, and one for both.

I'm not sure how well RP would work unless you talked with the person you were RPing with on TS or something...

I thought about this too, but as @TheFinitePeach alerady said, it would be very difficult to make RP interesting and enjoyable, since the viewer have to read it and to focus solely on your RP. There are other people who talk at the same time in chat, so it can be quite confusing sometimes. TS would be great, or you dub it afterwards.^^

PvP and building on the other hand is always interesting.

Your best bet would be survival or faction building with something Massive (like the market) or something mixed in.

I think nothing is impossible, there must surely be a way to incorporate RP with the lets play, perhaps some commentary explaining what's going on, or as I heard someone say, Skype or TeamSpeak​

The video may incorporate a number of things from the server, much like Roosterteeth. Some could be roleplaying, raiding, building, training. I'd be down for this

I have a really easy fix for you @Sisley_ concerning the RP text visibility. If you're making a let's play you're going to talk all the time. Why not read everything said aloud, even other people's messages, you could also invent funny ways of talking, imitating their voice. voila, quick, easy, probably offending other RPers a little.

If to many people want to join the series perhaps you could maybe go from faction to faction, person to person, to show the many different parts of the server. So you could do episodes in pvp factions to show what it's like and then go to a more rp based faction to change gears for different audiences. I for one would not mind partaking in the series as well.

Start on a server with a few roleplayers, and then do regular minecraft while roleplaying as the current character they are while playing minecraft.

Currently the easiest thing for a let's play to do is to basically record fights at Siege. Its good short term pvp that is easy for an audience to get into. Also, if you plan on talking over Skype with multiple people while you record a video, I advise you to have a "application" meeting of some sort on Skype. It is important to make a video with personalities that you really get along with, to prevent any awkward situations.

Thats what i had in mind seeing as though i've just started with the Wynter palace. The terraforming ao far was a heap of fun

@Sisley_ , so pretty much have 6.7-8 people recording at the same time, and split some activities between people say, building, roleplaying, minigames, raiding, etc. Then with some editing you just take a few seconds from each screen and put them in a rotating order if confused its like this really:

I think this is a good idea, but we would need more people.

If I make my Let's Play Series I'd try to get only people that have mics and only people that have similar interests to me (like to PvP, build, survive, help run a group of factions (Hisokian Collective))
