    {A Marauder's Masquerade}
    [IMG]

    {A lovely patron has rented the downstairs of the Rose Elysium for a night of jingling bells and wayward hands, calling upon all the morally… decent thieves and vagabonds of the city for a bit of game. A game, of course, that has a prize. But, let’s explain the rules first and foremost.

    Everyone who enters receives a bell, a small one about the size of an acorn that emits a small ringing if not handled carefully. Simple, yes? Now, in order to win this game, one must emass the most amount of bells before the evening ends. So, in order to win, you must take the bells of others, through trickery and… sleight of a hand. At the end of the night, the winner leaves with a prize of, oh, a couple hundred regals, a favor... or something else of their choosing.

    A gentle reminder that those participating should likely leave their valuables at home. Masks are not required, despite it being a masquerade, but are generally recommended. Formal attire is also not required. You’re stealing bells, not my spotlight. Though you are welcome to try and steal both.}

    Who: All… ‘lawfully aligned’ vagabonds and thieves, and any other who wishes to chance their luck in other’s pockets.
    What: Basically a giant game of keep away.
    When: Sunday July 11th! @ 7pm EST. People are welcome to come at any time, however, the sooner you start stealing, the better!
    Where: The Rose Elysium /tp whimsy !

    OOC Rules
    Counting is going to work on an honor system! Meaning you have to keep track of how many bells you have, and that I trust you won’t simply lie about the amount of bells you’ve gotten.

    Anytime you lose a sleight of hand roll, you have to either fail and leave the bell, or get caught and hand the bell back to the person you stole it from. If you do fail, go attempt to steal from other people first before attempting to steal from that same person again.

    If you or the person you’re stealing from has multiple bells, you still only take one/a person can only take one from you, regardless of how high they rolled.

    For those that don’t have sleight of hand, they can still participate! But, of course, they have to roll higher for success. If they don’t have sleight of hand, and they roll a 6 or below, they get caught, with a 40% success rate instead of the pack’s 60%.
