A Letter of Pride Lost.

I write this open letter in response to an event I saw take place (and interjected) that shocked me beyond my years. A man claiming to be a representative of House Winslough, who I have since learned is named "Peter Winslough" watched and took part in the beating of a young man for no other than a claimed berated comment--which to my knowledge is entirely untrue. He did so in a back alley, with the company of up to at least seven other men, one of which being a particularly large Orc. It should also be noted that the men were spineless enough to not give me their names, fearing of the repercussions I would imagine.

I have travelled this world, far and wide. Spreading the word of Unionism peacefully, and of the news of our great Holy City that I have always been so proud of. I have also taken part in our Holy Spirit's wars. On the front lines, and providing our troops with much needed clerical support in their times of need— and to hear this beating justified by the fact that the man claims to have a Reverend for an Uncle downright appals me. I must admit, that I am ashamed to have invited so many people to our home, this city and to have witnessed this in my own metaphorical backyard, so to speak.

I am proud of our gracious and Holy City, but not of what I fear it might become if we allow thugs and miscreants dictate our daily lives in the streets that we once deemed safe.

Signed humbly and sorrowfully,

Curate Remko Holm.

The knight would disclose a letter to Peter. Short and to the point.

"We need to speak. - Flowers"

Sergio would rummage for a sigg, off-duty, in his usual coat and clothes. He'd teeter from foot to foot drearily, his hands slothly reaching into his coats various pockets. Finding one, he passes the sloppy and worse-for-ware sigg to his lips with his left hand, lighting it before inhaling deeply. He rubs his forehead with his right, reading with a half-interested gaze.

"
Ugh, what an issue..."

Markos would read this letter with a sigh going to walk of to the tavern muttering.
"Sometimes I just wonder what he is doing"

Euan d'Souza's eyes widened at the dennouncation of House Winslough as he bit thick peice of mutton before yelling out "Ey' told yah' they were bad news! Gaha." the man danced around the captains quauters for awhile before easing back into his chair with a sigh of relief.
