A Game Of Malice

The following notices were posted just about anywhere one can imagine, though with a particular hotspot for the following locations: The Velheim district, New Crookback, and the Regalian Sewers. The ink was decadent, and the parchment poisoned with sweet scents of deceit, and the nail which held it upon its destination bent to the side in wayward strife.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, what is a life without theatrics? A home without performance? A job without the fun? Pointless, I tell you; and so today, whether you like it or not, I've orchestrated a series of events to busy your sad and simple minds. An activity which I'm sure will thrill you most, and even a prize you may win. Truly, you will win either way, but what is a game without its traditions?

Today, I, Mirabella Wymarc, Upyr of the Athanasia Scion, and we the Droseraceae, properly claim the Velheim district and all such surrounding areas we see fit under our command for the day, effective one o'clock through six o'clock on the twenty-seventh of February, 309 A.C. It is ours, and shall be treated as ours, for exactly six hours, or until you can win the game. What game, you ask? Well. Let me show you.

We have placed a statuette of Malice somewhere within your abode. It is your job to find it, and to return it to one such individual who will claim themselves as your leader, or to the sewer entrance within Old Crookback. It is our job, however, to prevent you from doing such. And we may do so by any means. We do, however, have a few rules in mind, which are listed below in no particular order.

1. Once the statuette is in one's possession, he may "pass" it off to another on his team. The opposing team may also steal it back from him by any means, so long as they can find him to begin with.
2. Magic and other such aberrant powers are permitted use in this game. If you don't have anything, well, that's your fault I suppose.
3. While under our command, the Velheim district… doesn't change at all. We just get to say we own a piece of land for six hours and then we will leave. No arson will be involved, nor will vandalism.
4. The "game" ends and the Velheim district is no longer ours once the statuette is either returned to one individual who names themselves the "leader" of your team, or if there is no one, then when it is safely delivered to the front Sewer Entrance that spills out into Old Crookback. Someone will be stationed there, waiting. ((If you get there and no one is there please ping me in discord or DM me))
5. And what do you have to do to join? Nothing. Simply show up.
6. Should the occasion of kidnapping or death arise, you can expect post-game retaliation. Otherwise, all such actions taken within game and within the district will be forgiven in the end.

OOC INFORMATION
Hi guys... ahah...
So basically I'm doing this all day event game type thing. Anyone is welcome to join, and I mean literally anyone. It's starting at 1:00pm EST and ending at 6:00pm EST orrrr when someone turns in the statuette. I'll describe the statuette in an environmental when you find it so you know it's the right thing. All you have to do is show up and start hunting. Easy peasy, right? Hope to see you there.​
