A klokktech type-written notice began to circulate around the city throughout Sunday. By the end of Monday, most of everyone were privy to at least one of the copies distributed to different holdouts, notice boards, and the like.

Office of the War Ministry
Greygate Prison
Regalian Holy City
July 10 310 AC

Duke-Elector Howland von Schwarzkrau zu Moritzberg
Viridian Knight
War Minister

Wort gegen die Ungerechtigkeit; word against injustice.

These are the words that command Viridian Knights to defend the defenseless, to maintain order in the Empire, and to disobey any governments that do not answer to the Emperor.

So too, does the War Ministry urge the citizens of the Regalian Holy City to resist the false state known as the Bralla-Bronn High Command, and their pretenses of rule over the Holy City.

They attempt to murder the Emperor. They outlaw religion and ban us from our sites of worship. And they seek to 'experiment' and probe the populace to 'learn'.

The Regalian State Government does hereby declare war upon the Bralla-Bronn High Command, to be waged from every corner of the Holy City until this supposed 'High Command' is expelled.

Rally, and find comfort in your fellow faithful. They may march our streets, but they will never claim our souls from our Divines.

Savor your victories, and learn from your defeats. And never stop defying. Never stop resisting. But most of all: Look out for one another. This is a city of many faiths and races. But we are all, in the end, Regalian.

These are an inquisitive people, seeking to learn what we of this Holy City are made of.

With Allest's might and Elia's passion, teach them.

With claymore in hand and battered armor, Aldon scratched his head at the office with a soft, quizzical 'huh,' chuckling and leaving the note where he found it against a board.

"And here I was thinking we were already at war! Well, you could've had me fooled!" The Silven laughed aloud, taking his blade in his firm grip once more to continue his hunt, dancing with bliss in the fires of revolt and resistance.

Nnoctor had to strain his neck to read the notice, but read it he did.

"Interesting new variable. I wonder what these meaties can come up with.

This should be Fun!"

Somewhere, in the depths of the Festival Grounds, a statue looms, with gnarled teeth and wings of glass. The Klokktek notice hangs from its tusks with fragile twine.

Claws grip the page. A monstrosity stares, dragging a thumb across the lettering. A prayer falls from its lips.
