Along the magma streams, obsidian glass shines next to it. They grow up to a height of 7', statue taking on a more feminine appearance. Their eyes would glow an icy-blue, hair taking on the appearance of large, exaggerated curls, draping over their back and encompassing their form. While still made of stone- they almost look and move like whorls of smoke. He would be much more relaxed and laid back rather than tense. He is not one for physical affection all that much, but given he is in a happier mood, there may be an acceptance once or twice. In more difficult situations, stress may consume Eilauver to the point he comes off as ignorant. Whether it be actual snapping, mild grumpiness, or pushing those around him away, it can seem 'not like him' when compared to his usual calm demeanor. If stress gets too much but needs to keep it cool, he can tend to ask someone for help or have someone else step in to do whatever Eilauver was doing that makes him stressed. Fear is a tricky one, depending the situation. It activates fight or flight mode. If Eilauver is in their Cahal form, he feels oddly enough more confident in his capability to depend himself. Outside of it, there are more doubts that fill his mind negatively than imagining positive victories. Again, there are many other things that factor in his reaction to fear, it depends what is causing it. [ Paragraph Two: Views | Authorities, Races, Religion, Arcane/Magical, & Family ] Eilauver, to some degree, has respect over the authorities. The Guards and other respectable units (Mercenaries) protect the people in the city, but like all communities, there will always be the bad apples. Said bad apples cannot always be stopped, so when one is found, you hate on them, but not the whole system. He does not believe the whole authority and government system should be frowned upon, but rather specific individuals that act on the negatives. Eilauver does not judge someone by their race but rather personality and actions. He is open to listening and experiencing another ones culture to see how it is like, but that is about it when it comes to the topic of races. Eilauver worships Asaph, the Violet Creation, specifically, but strayed from his Dragon Worship when becoming Cahal. He does his best to understand others views and their religions, tending to disagree but preferring to keep his mouth shut overall when religion topics are mentioned. The Arcane and Magical fascinate Eilauver to some degree, but usually what he would like to do is use knowledge as a weapon. Whether it be for finding out creatures or even peoples weaknesses and strengths, or finding something else that could be used against said creature or person, that is what Eilauver looks for when dipping down into the abnormal. Family is what Eilauver holds dearly, whether they are blood related or not. If they see someone as family, he would risk his life for them. [ Paragraph Three | Pride & Motivation ] Eilauver takes pride when it comes to money and what he can do skill set wise. He hopes to open a shop or market of sorts one day to gain an excessive amount of Regals to both spend on other valuable items or to brag, flexing persay on how much he can get. What motivates is also the thoughts of regals and what he can do with it. But aside from money, another thing that can motivate him is friends around who wish to be around him and look after his well being. [ Paragraph Four | Fears & Insecurities ] Eilauver is insecure about the scar over their eye and the fact they have no right leg from the knee down, it is magitech. From a spar gone wrong, they found it was a sign of weakness, able to get taken down easily. A few things he is scared of is height and needles. He freaks out when needles come close to him, while for height, he is mainly scared of it over the fear he may fall. __________________________________________ __________________________________________ __________________________________________ __________________________________________ << BACKSTORY >> Childhood Eilauver was born and raised within the strongholds of Ellador to a mother and father, having a sister by his side growing up. He grew up as an average kid, education good and causing occasional trouble. In the years of his childhood, he grew up stealing, having an eye for items that shined. He would take stray regals from counters when those around weren't looking, take hold of necklaces and other jewelry items when the opportunity showed, and more. This behavior did not last too long though, scolded many times whenever caught. Aside from these troubling habits, Eilauver sat outside for half the day to watch the Frost Watchers, striving to be one when grown up. Those who protected the Keep inspired Eilauver, seeking to better himself and assist in keeping others safe. Adolescence Hitting adolescence years, Eilauver began looking into other things to do, dedicating his time to Engineering of Magitech and, with his inspiration to be a Frost Watcher, learn to wield a blade. He sparred his father, learning techniques of a blade from him, losing many times but eventually got the hang of it as time went on. Eilauver was never the absolute best sword fighter there was, but decent enough to defend himself against his enemies. On the side to continue working on advancing skills, Eilauver dipped into Magitech, staying up late to create biotics for the Keep in case one lost a limb. But what Eilauver was quite focused on, was creating a friend. A familiar. An Owl by the name of Alyssa. To him, Alyssa was his best friend when he was alone and creating 'gadgets'. Early Adulthood Dreams really can come true, can they? Well, Eilauver could say that. When growing up, he became a Frost Watcher, on alert at all times, ready to rush into action to protect the Keep. He sparred more often during these times, but sometimes, fighting even for fun or training comes with prices to pay. One day, Eilauver had a spar that went wrong. Both opponents went to far, from simple cuts, slashes, to then stabs and impalements. The two were at it for what seemed like hours. When Eila had dropped his guard, his opponent went to the extent of cutting through his leg. Gone from the bottom of the knee, down. He claims he does not remember much of the aftermath from the fight beyond knowing the leg missing. As everything seem to come to for Eilauver, waking up in a cot, he was explained what happened, and when full realization hit, he felt nothing but horrible. He felt stupid for not stopping sooner, he knew everything was going too far but the adrenaline rush made him keep going, believing he will win, and this was the price from it. Part of his right leg, gone. When recovering, though, Eilauver tinkered with his magitech again and managed to make himself 'good as new', replacing what was lost, but it never felt the same. Adulthood Eilauver decided to fled Ellador, telling those he knew he had a calling elsewhere, outside of the Keep. With final goodbyes, and by now, used to the prosthetic, he packed up and left, taking Alyssa, his magitech owl, with him along the ride. Who knew where he was going, he did not even know himself, he only wandered and occasionally rode a carriage to get around when he was done walking. Along his travels, Eilauver had met a Cahal Wylathar by the name of Cyrus, which both of the two got along fairly well to some extent. At least the two did not become enemies, but Eilauver did have a slight problem with the Wylathar's flirting. Cyrus always flirted, and in Eila's mind, it seemed like Cyrus flirted with everything that moved. But well, the two made it work out. As Cyrus went on about the Cahal, Eilauver grew interested, and showed the peek of interest. One thing led to another, and then he was infected through the Colossi Soulrend Ritual. With new abilities, and beginning to dab into more studies by it, such as sorcery, Eilauver was decently happy with this newfound power. Present Day Soon after, the two ended up in Regalia, for whatever reason.
